The only thing fun thing to do in Denver is to wear Kevlar and avoid being shot and killed. These are the other reasons why this place sucks: 1. High Cost of Living and Housing The cost of living in Denver has increased significantly in recent years, particularly in terms of housing. Home prices and rent have skyrocketed, making it difficult for many residents to find affordable housing options. 2. Traffic and Limited Public Transportation Traffic congestion has worsened due to the city’s rapid population growth, leading to longer commutes. Additionally, the public transportation system, while available, is not as extensive or efficient as in other major cities, limiting mobility for those without a car. 3. Environmental Concerns: Air Quality and Ozone Levels Denver has experienced air quality issues due to its proximity to the mountains and the impact of wildfire smoke during certain seasons. The city also struggles with high ozone levels, which can contribute to respiratory issues. 4. Extreme Weather and Seasonal Changes Denver’s weather can be unpredictable and harsh, with rapid temperature changes, heavy snowstorms in the winter, and very hot summers. The altitude can also make it more challenging for newcomers to adapt, sometimes causing altitude sickness. 5. High Altitude and Health Effects The city’s high altitude (5,280 feet above sea level) can have physical effects on residents and visitors, such as dehydration, shortness of breath, and fatigue. This can be a deterrent for people sensitive to altitude changes. 6. Homelessness and Social Issues Denver has faced increasing issues related to homelessness, with a visible rise in the number of people experiencing homelessness throughout the city. This can create safety and social concerns for residents. 7. Rapid Growth and Urban Sprawl Denver’s rapid growth has led to urban sprawl, creating challenges in maintaining infrastructure, community cohesion, and access to services. Some neighborhoods have experienced significant changes, impacting their character and affordability. 8. High Property and Sales Taxes Colorado’s property and sales taxes are relatively high compared to other states, which can be a financial burden for residents, especially homeowners. 9. Limited Cultural Diversity While Denver is becoming more diverse, some residents find that it still lacks the level of cultural diversity and international community found in other major cities like Los Angeles, New York, or Chicago. 10. Limited Nightlife and Entertainment Options css Copy code - While Denver has a thriving craft beer and outdoor activity scene, some may find the nightlife and entertainment options to be limited compared to larger cities. 11. Crime Rates in Certain Areas rust Copy code - Some areas of Denver have experienced an increase in crime rates in recent years. Concerns over safety, particularly property crime and theft, can be a consideration for residents. 12. Water Shortages and Environmental Constraints css Copy code - Denver and the surrounding areas are susceptible to water shortages, particularly due to drought

Point Mallard in Decatur along the Tennessee River is a water park, my mom would take me to when we lived in Huntsville & Florence. There's three Fairs in the Northern Alabama Middle Tennessee area, Fayetteville North of Huntsville, small but kid friendly. The Muscle Shoals fair and the Lawrenceburg Fair. With Opryland gone, pre-fall fairs = fun for adults and kids. I got to go to space camp around 1989/90 and loved it. Of course we lived in sight of the Space Shuttle on display, but it was a summer activity to get me out of the house. Your babies are adorable, make more.

Can we please have another update? 🙏 I'm thinking about buying these materials & most others from Gentle Revolution Press. I only painted "[baby's name]", "mommy", & "daddy" in red on some dollar store canvas boards to see how he takes to it, & noticed that he *is* laser-focused on each in turn for a moment, & seems to enjoy them, those few times when I pull them out. He's 3 months old.

thanks for the info on LR. Just courouis ... ur from the west and we dont have large rivers?? Hum... the Columbia River in WA and OR is a huge river. The Rogue River in Oregon has rapids that are not for the faint of heart. The Sacramento River , in CA is a good size and my beloved Colorado River, in AZ is a desert beauty. There are so many more; Feather River, Klammath River, Trinity River...

Bravo, this video gives a well created look at PC in the summer. There is a local saying that goes: "People come here for the skiing, but then move here because of the summers." PC is a beautiful, friendly town with lots to do - especially in the summer time.
