what tire do u use? and how you handle with the scraps, is it dangerous?
@thewoolf110 ай бұрын
Back then i used Bridgestone Battlax S20´s, today i´d recommend a more modern tire though, you could have a look at the S23´s which are the suc-suc-successor of the S20. The scrapes are dangerous if you push over it. If the bike already scrapes, you can´t push much further or else "hard" parts of the bike will hit the ground and send you off. The way to deal with it is to keep a steady lean once scraping, and the excessive hangoff i use in this video. The more weight you shift to the inside of the corner, the later the bike will scrape.

Please upload more! Looked you up from Schaaf his video and love your ridingstyle. Just bought a z1000sx and would love to see more of it. Previous bike was a vfr800 v-tec and can’t wait to learn to master this beast the way you do. Such a shame there is only 1 video of you on this bike. Still got the bike?

I always focused more on riding, than on recording ;) Sorry for that... The bike was sold quite some years ago to the Netherlands after over 50 000km on it. Enjoyed every kilometer on it. Best wishes and keep on riding! ✌🏻

Hello. Please tell me if there are sessions for motorcyclists (without a coach) on the Kartbahn Ampfing track? Can I come with my motorcycle and train on my own? I have experience, but I couldn't find a suitable similar track.

amazin skills, look easy when i see you. what would be the best advice to learn how to corner like you ?
@thewoolf16 жыл бұрын
Take it easy... It looks easy because i´m riding relaxed. A wise man once said... If your arm cramp when riding fast, you´re too tensed up, if your legs hurt like hell, you´re sitting right. I´ve ridden almost 100 000 kilometers in 5 years, it´s really all just practice. ;)

Should I buy this bike...I'm 22, and getting A2 soon, so is KLE good choice for starters?
@thewoolf17 жыл бұрын
It´s easy to ride, hardly ever breaks, is cheap but also boring as hell... It´s a decent starter bike, nothing exciting, but it does the job. And you can sell it after two years for a similar price that you bought it for ;) So yes!

Nice riding, is the knee down for leaning or for not over leaning?
@thewoolf18 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The kneedown is for knowing how far i´m already leaned over. On the Z1000 i use it for not leaning over too far since the pegs and exhaust would start to scrape. On my R6 though I use it to know if i´ve reached my desired lean yet. You could say it´s for both ;)

Not quite in the same category. For the road i´d never take the S1000RR over the SX, but on the track it´s a different story... Anyway, have fun riding ;)

If you had the choice between the Kawasaki and the old cbr for a track day, what you use?
@thewoolf18 жыл бұрын
+Mojo Without any hesitation it´s the CBR600... The Z1000SX is comfortable, sporty, and in my opinion the best overall bike you can get for the road. But it just isn´t good for getting around corners fast. I´ve been to the same track on the Kawa s well als the old CBR... even though the CBR is A LOT slower in acceleration i was faster by over 7 Seconds a lap on it compared to the Kawa.
@ifrit358 жыл бұрын
Alright, I appreciate your feedback. I'm planning on doing track days but my MT07 is the only option I have right now. If I enjoy it I could get a cbr 600 f2 or f3 since they are cheap. I don't want to spend too much on a first track day motorcycle. Cheers.
@thewoolf18 жыл бұрын
+Mojo I´m sure you´ll get addicted! The F3 is an excellent choice as a beginner trackbike. You basically just need to get the footpegs a little higher and the stock exhaust (or an aftermarket exhaust is most of the time higher anyway). The F2 isn´t bad either, but got a smaller rear rim which limits the choices on racing tires that you can get. Either way you´ll have a lot of fun Ride safe!

Wuensch dir viel Spass, falls dus anpackst!

nice ride nice motorcycle tech spec but lap time 2:15 on medium sliks? thats disapoiting car honda s 2000 240 hp 2 Times slower acceleleration than cbr 600 f3 do 2:13:7 s nissan gtr with similar acceleration up to around 170 km/h like your cbr 2:07:7 s so 2:15 is not very good time i think especialy that you ride on sliks now you can say why ;) ? diffrent in track configuration car lap time which i show was made on 4,7 km track .
@thewoolf19 жыл бұрын
+marcin l Hello Marcin, thanks for watching and the comment. Comparing car and bike laptimes is not so easy, because depending on the track layout either the car or the bike has an advantage. Cars are faster in long corners and esspecially on lower speed braking zones. A bike has an advantage in bends and direction changes because you can pick a straighter line through. Also i´m not a professional racer, so my laptimes aren´t the limit of what my CBR can do. (2:13:5 is my current best). The F3 CBR is also slower than you might think. Track tested 0-200 time is ~17sec, compared to the GTR´s ~11,5sec and the S2000 25ish. I hope that´s a satisfying explanation.
@mociczyczki9 жыл бұрын
not necessery cbr do 200 in 17 but up to 160-170 is not slower than gtr just after thiss speed it start to slow compare to gtr etc on fast corners car without down force dont have advantage .
