You should only use silicone gun oil and never use remoil or any other petroleum based lubricant. The petroleum oil will wear the O rings faster. Great video. Thank you!

Mine was 1.25 turns from factory. Adjusted it to 2.5 as you said and it has tamed it up and increased the consistency. Thank you for the videos and keep up the good work.

I think that is a battery compartment used for models that use 2 batteries. Possibly one has a diesel engine.

How did you know the polarization of the antennas on the drone? If it is RHCP for example, and you installed LHCP antennas on the controller - the communication would be lost.

If my gun is leaking out the air gauge on the gun when I pump it up do you think that is a O-Ring? I just got it for Christmas and only shot it around 10 times then all the air went away after the last shot and now it comes out the top of the gauge when pumping it up

Pro tip: take the wheel skirt out to get at the 4 tabs around the pocket without doing body damage.

ON my 2014, my hands no way fit. If you have big hands this won't work. Go in from the top, disconnect the air filter, pop the filter, and unsnap the air scoop from the top and wiggle it out. Then reach down and far and turn the bubble cap. Blindly find the snap, gently lift while pulling on the headlamp plug. Turn the bulb housing and done. A 20 minute job realistically. Usual scrapes. This is all blind BTW if you got big hands what won't fit in that tiny space under the wheel well. I tried. My hands just don't fit in there with all the plastic. I had to give up and go in from the top.

How about the dash menu? Any secret menus there for checking check engine lights?

I have a 2014 Dodge Unlimited V6 and couldn’t change the headlight bulbs. I could see the blinkers from the hood access that your video demonstrates, but had to go through the wheel well hatch, which was actually wet easy too.

I would recommend using heat shrink tube for centering the baffle on barrel. It will be more consistent.

Hi Pete. I love the Durango videos! You have simplified maintenance for those of us who refuse to pay a fortune for work we can do ourselves. I have a 2016 Durango and this summer my washer fluid would no longer spray. Turns out my hose broke. That is an item that doesn’t show up in searches and not many parts stores close to me had the kit. I would love to see a video on changing the washer fluid hose. Thanks for all you do. 😀

FYI from the factory, my hammer screw (purchased in early October, 2024) was 1.75 turns from fully tightened. @SuperPete In this video, at 1:50 you mention Umerex indicates this should be 1.5 turns out, but then at 3:28 you mention 2.5 was where you found the most accuracy. I just wanted to make sure one of these mentions wasn't a mistake... would you recommend starting at 1.5 or 2.5 turns out? Thanks!
