A good version, but Rita and the Tiaras captures and expresses a higher level of intensity and rawness, which are the essence of Northern Soul IMHO.

When I discovered their album completely by accident, I was completely surprised. especially after the band's name. it was the nineties, full of skinhead fascists, and here was such a surprise. They recorded an album with a unique sound, in a unique band. and they turned out to be left-wing, which also surprised me. To this day they are one of my favorite bands. They gave their all and had a message for the listeners. and it is still very good today. It's a pity there's only one album. maybe one, but unique
