The lyrics to A Plateful of Hateful are as relevant and true today 34 years later as they were then...even more so. We desperately need a Redskins for today.

Saw them at U of Kent in maybe 85. One of best bands of the 80's.

First band I saw, Newcastle Riverside, think it was 84 or 85, was still at school so it was about then. The current shit show in the UK and I’ve started listening to Neither Washington nor Moscow again and realised how relevant it still is

When I discovered their album completely by accident, I was completely surprised. especially after the band's name. it was the nineties, full of skinhead fascists, and here was such a surprise. They recorded an album with a unique sound, in a unique band. and they turned out to be left-wing, which also surprised me. To this day they are one of my favorite bands. They gave their all and had a message for the listeners. and it is still very good today. It's a pity there's only one album. maybe one, but unique

Still relevant with Starmer and his attacks on ordinary working people, pensioners, the sick and disabled making them pay for economic crisis.

First track hints to a more kind of jazzier side to the band...what could have been...sigh...
