I've used it for decades in my crap acl...it doesn't fix everything, but it helps to give some decent pain relief and minor support...at least that's been my experience. I'm not an athlete!! I didn't go to the gym or run marathons. I'm just someone with chronic pain and constant knee pain, and it does seem to help in pain reduction. When I don't wear it, I notice a lot more pain than when I wear it...especially helping me to sleep with less pain. Is it a miracle cure? No. It's a tool to use to help, along with strength training and maybe pain meds.

I would be curious if you took a look at the study’s on horses I myself I used it on several horses and noticed huge changes before and after one horse went from being unable to walk to immediately after being able to walk and trot soundly another had persistent swelling and the next day the swelling was gone another had trauma to her poll which is where the neck attaches to the skull after taping she showed many signs of relaxation and was physically less sore upon palpation

I have pain doing the empty can test. Back in May 2024, during the morning, I flared out my elbows doing overhead dumbbell press (first time with this exercise and very light weight) but felt nothing. Went to bed and when I woke up I had a horrible pain on the shoulder I slept on. I had severe for 3 months then by the end of the 4th month it felt had reduced to a 3 out of 10 pain. Its now December 2024 and it has barely gotten any better. Especially if I swing my arm upward. My arm goes through the motion of a narrow grip chin up. I move my arm back and as I accelerate (1/4 the range of motion from "elbow behind back to parallel with my torso), a stabbing pain takes over and I have to stop quickly 😢 8/10 pain briefly but quickly gets there. (I can move my arm in almost every direction and still lift weights but at certain angles there is pain and if I shift my shoulder back(pulling back with middle trapez) sharp pain is felt in the same area you mentioned

Thank you so much for this information. The instructions that come with my gun are not very specific. Do you know if it's ok to use massage oil with these attachments? Especially the foam ball? I'm not sure if it will be easy to clean afterwards 🤔
@PTProgressКүн бұрын
Definitely not with the foam ball. I would avoid adding oils at all to be honest.

Can we do chin tuck if we have normal neck or no pain, just to avoid problem in the future?

That sounds like a great idea! I’d consider chin tucks to be a safe exercise to add to a strengthening routine!

Can you give me any advice?? I had a big fall, severely dislocated and broke my shoulder...4 months on and my mobility is still poor... I feel pain and fragility... According to the MRI, my understanding is that there was damage to The rotor Cuff (a partial thickness tear), possible labral tear, the glenohumeral ligament is damaged, i have degenerative changes at the ac joint, type 2 acromion and extensive bone marrow edema... some doctors declared my shoulder as frozen (because my mobility didn't return), but I am not sure... do you think these exercises would be good for me? I can't do anything above chest height...I often get shooting pain and my arm freezes up i am just guessing its nerves being pinched...I have no idea really... any advice really gratefully recieved... I feel so stuck in my life
@PTProgress4 күн бұрын
These exercises may be similar to what you might experience in PT but it sounds like you may need help directly from a physio in person. That would be my best recommendation to help with a frozen shoulder right now. Hope you get relief soon!

I love how every TRX reviewer’s doors seem to open out AWAY from the room allowing for the frame to give added stability … all my doors open IN to the room which makes using the anchor a bit precarious and definitely not as sturdy!

Hey Tim, thanks for your reply, I'm feeling better now but I see some pains in my shoulder and thighs. I think it's the sedentary lifestyle. Please share you opinion on how we can maintain health without being in pain and also work 7-8 hours straight in a chair. It would be very helpful to know because I'm in my 20s and didn't want that pain at my old age as well.

K tape is magic. It cuts my healing time down to days instead of weeks. I'm 42 and have been if using it for 10 years as a cleaner. I now own my own business and am also an LMT. I self am a self-taught K taper. All people are different and especially in what they want to deal with. Some people may not want to try new things, etc. I know I am a very open-minded person and knew the tape would work from whatbi learned in massage school about our fascia system that runs throughout the whole body like a 3D web. When I use K tape, I think of it like putting an extra web of fascia on the outside of my skin. I guess you could say extra layer of skin. But if you look up fascia, it seems to act kore like this system to me. Good luck and if you want to be pain free and stay in the game, of life. Give it a try.

why don't orthopedic surgeons in the United States know how to diagnose these problems properly? they don't look at underlying issues immediately. x-rays would show bone fractures and nothing and then steroid injections and physical therapy never truly identifying the cause
