At 6:20 it filled up and you put the covers on after. Is that good enough the way it filled up slowly?? Mine doesnt fill up all the way even after about 5 minutes but i can tell its still filling very slowly.

you should definitely put the pro tip to not remove the battery side cover before you show her removing the battery side vent cover. was too late by the time I got there

Why not use some marine grade sealant products? drilled holes on boat applied some of that, no leaks even submerged on lakes/ocean.

Where can I buy a Surestart?? My GT has been a huge pain to get going since the recall upgrade whenever it’s below like 45° outside specifically

Hey I have a question, I broke my connector for my GT and hot glued it. Is it possible to install it without removing the Footpad ?

Is this to make it easier to start the GT? I have issues with the front foot pad all the time when starting or riding very slowly.

Can’t you posi mod and it will function the same way?
@sqzmheckington47302 жыл бұрын
I believe that permanently makes your sensor activate with just one side, while with SureStart, you can choose the amount of time after engaging before it'll return back to needing two sides activated, allowing you to heel dismount.

Great video. I'm very curious what the difference in the gasket over the stock one.

Weird how everyone moves out of the way. Also, was camera person on a Onewheel? I can only seem to hear the subject’s ride.

I just badgered my onewheel, after about a year of owning it, riding through everything. It's survived so far, but it's such a relief to get it badgered. When i took it apart i realized how badly the seals were put in place. So it's kind of a miracle that it hasn't bricked yet.

Knowing what I know now about silicon, I'd never use it to try and seal my OW. I'd strongly recommend a polyurethane (Like Sikaflex or Dicor) to anyone doing this. Silicon will harden over time and can't expand and contract very well, and vibration will cause it to sheer/pull away from flat, unroughened surfaces. An elastomer has surface adhesion levels almost unmatched, and stay supple over time to absorb bumps, vibrations and expand a lot with part movement. It's also cleaned more easily than silicon, which fouls the surface and makes re-applications fail at a high rate. Would love to see Badger kits upgraded!

Are the vent covers reusable and is it possible to put a layer of silicone on the outside edges of the controller and battery box to prevents leaks?

Awesome. I want to do this also. Did you do the entire 14.5 miles? Did you have plenty of back left? Any issues going up the steep climbs? thanks.

My Badger kit arrives soon but today I went 10 miles in heavy rain on the GT 😞 Should I just Badger like normal once the kit arrives?

WD, Amazing ASMR and skills! WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE is the SOUND! Nonfilmer cannot tell you what is wrong, but amazing skills and great video quality but POOR AUDIO is ALWAYS a POOR VIDEO. Especially for Action-POV with wind. A little lavalier (from 20$ up) taped somewhere wind-protected w/ just your phone as 'field recorder' is already a good start to UP YOUR VID 500%. So much more than that fancy new cam. Now you now - just listen to the next POV-vid w/ probably poor audio and how much of overall bad impression it makes.

I know its harder to ride one these rather than a proper mountain board, but i just cant bring myself to like these "skates". They looks silly, like a 90's kids toy on steroids.
@DeadAshenSoul2 жыл бұрын
They are definitely way closer to feeling like a snowboard than a mountain board. To each their own I suppose but I love the giant wheel in the middle.

The 360 camera doesn't show how gnarly the elevation is, but this just looks that Floaty is totally nuts blasting through the trails. And at some parts GT just lacks power to move. I just can't wait when boards actually have power to climb uphills.
@TheAnimeist2 жыл бұрын
Floaty is one of my favorite Onewheelers, but there should be a flight fin class on its own.

Nice, this really captures those adrenaline moments where there's an overlap between sheer panic and pure thrill. Not sure I could have continued to hold the camera through the intensity!
