This is sickening to see ! Ive been making occasional videos myself covering what they've been doing to harlestone firs, but i havent been up there in a few months now ... seeing the road, and the building site thats destroyed Dallington Heath in your video is infuriating ! I knew it was coming but to see it actually in full swing now is different, nobody in Duston wanted this Shit ! Scumbags that dont give a toss about duston are destroying our home more and more each day, ive been here all my life, 43 years and i cant tell you how angry it makes me, and not knowing how to stop it, i feel powerless in the face of this Evil ! ...so sad to see places i love being changed forever amnd ruined! ...... ps your footage was great, i just wish it wasnt of this abomination 👍🏻 thanks for showing us

Thanks Clare, From the footage it is clearly not a relief road. Not an easy route for HGV from M1 to Moulton Park with all the roundabouts to negotiate. So sad to see our countryside destroyed.
@clarebabes17 күн бұрын
Yes, it was sold as a relief road but obvious what it really is. The section at Sandy Lane isn’t a relief road either. My suspicion is they’ll be another road put in north of Harpole to open up there for development. We’re really concreting over the countryside 😭

Thanks for the video clare. As a regular walker around the fir's this is very sad to see. When the trees were originally being cleared at the back of Lodge Farm there was a sign/notice from Althorpe Estate stating the tree clearing was not for development but just natural forestry management. The knock on effect is very worring for wildlife, flooding, population, pollution etc..

Thank the planners for the total destruction of our once beautiful County. Not content with destroying our Town they have now embarked on the systematic destruction of our local countryside. Upton, Harpole , Rothersthorpe and Kislingbury are all being destroyed. And that is only this side of Town. Sywell, Overstone and Moulton have almost gone too. Well done for highlighting this destruction being done in the name of progress,
