Hey Clare, it's Logan from the Chron. Great footage. Just double, double-checking we're ok to use this video, with credit to you of course. Many thanks

Yes, of course that’s fine. Not much progress since the last one! Keep up the pressure to get this road open!!!! Thanks

Great update Clare odd that they don't look like they are planning to join onto the road to nowhere even that would seem the logical route while doing all of this.

I know, will be interesting to know where the lorries for Lodge Farm are meant to go without this being joined up. I did hear a rumour that the 'Road to Nowhere' is not built on stable ground, but that has not been confirmed. I really think we need a better solution to this. No one wants to live next door to a road with thundering lorries going by.

Great video- they aren’t joining the road / was never in the plan - if you look closely on the plan’s there is a line across where it looks like it joins . When road at Berrywood Rd / new sandy lane roundabout opens then vehicles will go down new road towards Harpole & then rejoin the original old Sandy lane just above the new housing estate & back down to Kislingbury roundabout 😮

Thanks Caroline, it absolutely makes no sense that the roads aren't joined up. As I said on the Spotted Duston post, I feel the residents of the new houses at the bottom of Sandy Lane have possibly been mislead. No one wants lorries thundering past their front door. @@carolinebrown2019

look at those sad new builds with squashed overlooked on all sides gardens, such a shame, they are all so shaded

I would hope they may get more light in the summer, the sun was quite low when I filmed this, however your overlooked and squashed comment I agree with. Hopefully once some trees and shrubbery is added they may look less stark.

If you look closer, those are horrible, little, ugly houses with disgusting small and weird shaped back gardens. Everything is squeezed in small spaces to use every inch of terrain at cost of buyers, who will have to deal with it. Everything according to the saying "build cheap, sell expensive". Looking at this development I can bet all my money, they build from the cheapest possible quality materials, bought in bulk in Eastern Europe, or China, and sell houses at the highest possible price. They'll offer you a "huge discount", but if you'll look closer, it will turn out, you are still overpaying by thousands of pounds. This developer deserves the worst fame. Now you can hate me👍

Which development are you referring to? There’s 3 in the video 🤣

Or did you mean all of them? 😂

@@clarebabes definitely the first one.

Bloor generally have a good reputation I thought, but I see your point. Not many sold by the looks of it and the gardens all look very tight.
