I think that top plug goes where the distributor used to be on these engines, before the days of direct ignition.

might be the european ones are a bit diffrent than the us but i had a 2001 9-5 and atm a 2006 9-5 but the 2006 is a lot better on quality inside the car than the 2001. the 2001 was a griffin and the 2006 is a aero. does anyone know if there is a diffrence on the 2006 and maybe 2007 because the 2006 has alot in commen to the older gen

2 questions. Do you have to pay the 200 dollar fee again if you fail the inspection the first time? And will they fail you for having some dents and scratches on the car?

Had my 2016 for six years, been in for four repairs. Water pump + coolant lines, popped coolant reservoir, and leaky front diff, and a malfunctioning sunroof sensor. Given that it’s got 90K miles on it now, I’m not super upset about it. Also I’m not upset because it’s still under warranty 😅

Volvo makes GREAT cars! How did I live so long and have so many cars before discovering Volvo? We‘re now on our third one. They run great and are very dependable. And, like advertised, incredibly safe. A relative totaled one and walked away without a scratch. We‘re believers now!

I LOVED my 2003 Aero. I actually had a guy on facebook flash the ECU on it and it was one of the fastest cars I've owned to date, would spin the tires at 40mph (auto trans) and got from 40-100 as fast as my friends Evo X, if not slightly quicker. No one ever believed it was only flashed and nothing else. Was a great sleeper car and even had the stock intake/exhaust so no turbo sounds. Never failed to get 30+ mpg on the highway either as long as you ran premium 93 in it. It did all this with 235k miles too. Sadly, I sold it to some ricer kid on marketplace and he ended up taking it to a car meet and neutral dropping it for an hour to get some likes on tik tok or whatever and blew the thing up. Biggest issue is that I live in the midwest and rust would devour these cars, particularly the dog legs and finding a clean one is near impossible so I switched back to a P2 volvo since they seem to be completely rust proof and volvos make all the right sounds to me. I'll drive saabs/volvos as long as I can still find them though. No one builds cars like the swedes

Anyone struggling with the 17mm under the battery tray try this. Take a spare 17mm open/box wrench and cut the open end off, leave yourself with a 3-5” handle. Slide the box end of the wrench over the bolt. If you can’t get energy leverage to loosen it read on…. Grab a pry bar and slide it down between your wrench and the transmission casing and give it a couple pry’s until you can loosen it with just your wrench and soon enough your fingers. Your bolt may be loose enough to not have to torque on it with a prybar if so good for you! I don’t remember if he mentioned it in the video but I had to remove the 22mm on the shifter prawl to lift the selector from the casing. 🤙😮💨

Yeah I have a similar issue with the axles on my CR-V. I replaced all 4 of them when I got the car but the same thing happens to me when it’s in 4th or 5th gear it makes a similar noise to that. I also noticed that one of the boots is starting to tear on one of the rear CV half shafts, so that’s great. Anyways I’ll probably end up replacing them yet again at some point but this time with genuine Honda CV axles, which typically run over $500 each, so really cheap… no… but I guess I don’t have much of a choice so we’ll see what happens. As for the Viggen, I’m not sure where you got these axles from but I would say your best bet for this situation is going to be eSaabparts.
