Yep that’s a very common problem on the 9-5s as they age! I would also recommend that you check the timing chain guides as well as the chain itself for wear because they do wear out a lot, especially on the GM engines. If you have a timing gun, then it’s usually pretty easy to check.

Just did this yesterday, no more leaks, you absolutely need a chrome socket to fit in the alternator bracket
