I would recommend Hellsing, One Punch Man, Black Lagoon, Trigun and Bleach as good introductions for people who are already into American comics, after that stuff like Jojo’s, Berserk and Fist of the North Star all kinda scratch that same comic book itch

If I were to make my own or reimagine DC, here's how I would do it 1. Superman Appearance: Black hair, Caucasian male, his suit is armored which is all shining blue, his cape is color red and his S/Hope chest symbol is replaced with a white star because he represents truth, justice and the American way Personality: Keep his usually heroic personality but as Clark Kent, he is often having bad days (mostly like tripping embarrassingly, arriving late, kinda like Peter Parker) Backstory: An alien sent to Earth to show true justice because his parents saw the toxicity of our planet and so Superman was then taught the goodness that he shall bring to humanity! Although he's kind of a teenager... 😅 2. Batman Appearance: I'm going for the more Dracula plus gothic look and feel that Tim Burton would've wanted, his suit is that he wears black spandex, he also sports clawed gauntlets and his mask is that of a bat's head but is mostly a knightlike helmet Personality: Shy and kind of an edgelord like Prince Vegeta or Shadow The Hedgehog. Backstory: So his family bloodline were a race of vampires who once protected Gotham at its medieval times, his modern family is now human and his parents died by a dancing clown who knew that if the Wayne's gave birth to more children, the bloodline will continue thus, this night motivated Bruce to become Batman!
