I have a 2006 4.0 blew the headgasket at 260k put blew devil in it now at 297k running strong.

Got 2020 Taco SR5 with 110K in five years. Never had an issue. All fluids are maintained.

It’s definitely down on power a bit. Compression in cylinder 1/2 is down 60 psi. 3/4 is down 30-40 psi. 5/6 are still in spec.

I'm only at 75k miles, but I'm looking forward to keeping my truck forever after seeing your progress with the Tacoma.

I understand you bought this when it was new. Did you perform any engine break in when you bought it? Or did you just drive it off the lot. Curious on how much that affects these.

Drove it approximately 300 miles home. Didn't change oil until 10k miles.

Dude this is awesome! I'm looking at a 2003 with 278k tomorrow. I think if the frames not Swiss cheese I'm g9nna buy it. You think a 03 will last over 400k?
