I'd seen some Casino vids. Hated their attitude and blocked their channel.

If you think of tight chugs when you think about a Rectifier, you've probably either only heard boosted ones or you never heard one. Also, I got way better results than what you got with the Amplitube, granted Dual Rectifiers are not my thing :D

can you recommend some pick ups to replace these ones ? Maybe you could do a video on which pick-up 's you recommend the best budget midway and expensive options ?? i would definitely watch it 👍✌

I was just recommended a few of your videos today, September 28th. I hear what you're saying here. The way the others do it is you have to wait for the funds to start coming in to spend money. One way that comes in is through youtube ad revenue. Since you're over 1000 subs, you can start getting that now. You can also set up a Patreon account to get monthly income from subscribers to help pay for the stuff. You can do many different types of videos without having to buy anything - Just playing guitar, maybe live streams talking to people, reviewing albums, songs, playing along with songs, etc. Just some suggestions.

Nice tone. What amp (or sim) are you using for the distortion demo?

Very late to the videoi know ,but lots of American companies pay people so little they need 2 or 3 jobs to make a living and your homeless community is huge oh yeah and they have as many products as possible made in cheap labour countries because the shareholders need to as much money as possible so they underpay at home and abroad to that

I upgrade a Squier Mustang and Jazzmaster with this pickup set (Alnico V). They sound way better than the previous one. You loose the "high gain due to very hot pickup typical tone" but it gives more clarity, smoothness and that bluesy tone wich is more versatile and respect the amp sound signature. For the price it's a very nice upgrade.

Ahhh man! I just found your channel today while looking up the Behringer V-Tone head due to a local listing and your vid was great. I love your style and your powerfully bright, humble personality. Don't give up for the sake of new stuff and keeping up etc. It's not at all a competition. Used gear reviews are a great help and for more people. Put it this way, as you are moved, make a video when you do discover something you like. Or if you find a trick that helps you with something, post it up. Regular schedules suck and so do plastic people who post the same new gear review on the same day like clockwork when the companies release their embargoes. We see through those people. They are glorified advertising billboards for the same corporations. Their videos may be more polished and they might have the newest and most expensive but I'm telling you USED and forgotten gear is the way to go. So much good stuff has fallen in the cracks but is now popping up in the classifieds/listings and auction sites, reverb etc. All the best to you but please share when you are moved. I'm subbed regardless! :)

This is an excellent review! Nothing wrong with Behringer gear. I've been playing and collecting gear for a few decades now and can say it with some authority. I scored a V-Amp Pro for dirt cheap and it really is one of the best modelers I've ever tried. I've got Tech 21 Sans Amp, Line6 HD Pro, Roland VG-99 / GR 55, Peavey & Marshall stacks etc and the V-Amp gear has it's own unique strengths. I actually think it sounds the most natural in recordings besides the Peavy vypyr(1st gen and Pro) gear. Having a 60+60 stereo amp at your disposal with so much connectivity inside is a great deal for sure, especially when you want to line out a little pod bean or another modeller. Just set the response to flat on the amp and allow the updated cab models in the pod to do the rest. Behringer makes really good stuff! The Germans don't fuck around when they put out a product that's for sure!

Hey man, I almost never comment on any videos, but I really enjoyed your content and just wanted to say thank you. I'm from Brazil, and I couldn't stress enough the importance of consistently reviewing affordable gear for us living in countries with less buying power. I also understand that expenses can add up quickly, so your decision to stop making videos is totally reasonable. Anyway, rest assured that you contributed a lot with the reviews you made!

Hi, thanks for the content, it was pretty useful cause not that many people showcase these Aliexpress type pickups in a consistent, decently recorded way, so thanks for investing your time and money in that specific niche. To be honest, focusing on gear is sometimes a distraction from actually playing the instrument anyway. From your pickup vids I remember you as a decent rhythm player. Myself I'm not a flashy shredder and I had an on and off relationship with playing guitar at home and in bands over the years (at times more projects, mods, gear)... I would recommend to keep a guitar around, keep it in your life, just have it in reach on a stand and noodle from time to time, learn a song you like when it gets stuck in your head, with no forced exercise regimen. Two years ago I thought I would probably never play in a band or record again, and who knew, an old friend reached out, we did a demo, played a gig, broke the cycle of boring ass grown up life. :)
