Decided a few years ago I wanted to become a film maker after about a decade of service industry work. Dove in headfirst, and now I have finished making my first short, and currently working on multiple other projects. It is never too late to start pursuing a new dream.

I like it a lot. Only thing is I feel like it’s too much headspace. I find that happens a lot with the crane. I usually now shoot in F mode for this reason because I can tilt down with my arms and keep my subject framed more precisely.

Nice! But the Pocket 6k Pro (or 4k/6k) doesn't offer 15:1 compression. Only 3:1, 5:1, 8:1 and 12:1 for constant bitrate.

Tried to get it perfectly balanced. A couple clips have stabilization added to them where the frame wasn't steady.

Do you know if you can balance the 6k pro on the Crane 3S while there is a cage on it?

You can. I use mine with a top handle whenever I use it. There's a lot more you could add too since you got more weight to work with the 3S. Follow focus, monitor, etc... Not ideal, since it's not the best-designed gimbal to handle and a lot of weight gets exhausting pretty quick. Hope that helps!

Nice video man! Looking at getting the crane 3s but watch a few videos about shaky footage with the bmpcc 6k pro. Have you had any problems with that at all?

I have, yeah. It's all about making sure it's fully balanced. The 6K pro is pretty oddly shaped so it makes it kinda difficult to get it balanced perfectly. but once you figure it out, I haven't had too many problems with it.

Amen! Also disappointed I didn't upload it in 4K. (Maybe someday I will) Hadn't really used Davinci until this and for some reason assumed it was it's full resolution and didn't double check.. rookie mistake.
