I have a 2023 midsize sedan. It gets well over 40mpg on the freeway at 70mph. It looks very sporty and handles great. No SUV can beat that.

Slow, choppy, turning feels like a mess, safe for the drivers inside in case of accidents in which case why the hell you driving? Learn to drive first before endangering everyone else on the road, also trash fuel efficiency and the design? Too big, give me a sleek looking car that can run nice and fast on the road

@Gozieaaa I didn't say SUVs are safer for the drivers inside. Headroom, width and 7 seat options are things SUVs have over sedans. Not all SUVs, mind you. Crossovers are trash. I'm talking about "real" SUVs.

Don’t concentrate on buy or lease, use your energy on bigger things, look at your entire financial portfolio, it won’t really matter in the end, a car is a car and won’t have any value in the long run, focus on making thousands than saving a few hundreds, focus on the bigger things.

Simple- for work single cab 8' bed, something you can pay cash for, stick with F-150 if your budget is low. Suburban yuppy- quad cab short bed 4x4 to drop off kids at school & shopping at Walmart.

The long-term cost of leasing is always more than the cost of financing. When you lease you pay interest on the entire value of the car while gaining no equity whatsoever. Leasing is total garbage financially speaking. The only benefit is not having to deal with the sale portion of ownership, but honestly selling a car is easy. So really, leasing is a tax on the lazy.

I prefer SUVs. My wife and I have a Highlander and a Crosstrek. The Highlander seats 7 and hauls their luggage. It tows up to 3500lb, has a roof-rack, and can get almost 30MPG. The Crosstrek seats 5ppl, tows 1500lb, has a roof-rack, and can top 35MPG. BOTH have AWD. Both have HUGE hatchbacks for hauling cargo.

@@datacipher Subaru has never offered the Crosstrek here as a sedan. They offered the Impreza as a sedan though, as well as the more-common hatchback that is basically a low Crosstrek. The 1st-yr or so Crosstrek here was actually called the Impreza XV. Even then, it sat higher than the typical sedan. It's always been a "CUV" here.

@@datacipherThen just say "car". Many cars are NOT sedans. Some are coupes, hatches, roadsters, saloons, etc. A sedan is a specific bodystyle of car, with 4 doors and a trunk.

Sedans are better and almost every single way. Don’t believe me? watch not just bikes. I don’t get why SUVs are so popular. SUVs are way more dangerous. My mom had a small hatchback that got hit from the side, and she was able to regain control. We were in a similar accident in an SUV a few years ago, and the car flipped over.
