Very nice! I also love your JX-3P in the background! I've got one as well as an original GM4T, and like the original Steinbergers, they are also climbing in value. I'll never sell either!

Back in the mid '80s I hurt my back and could hardly hold my Les Paul it was so so painful, I had a couple of gigs coming up and was thinking of cancelling until a friend said he knew someone that had a Steinberger and he would probably lend me it for those gigs, well he did and I played the gigs with that Steinberger, the difference was massive, after that I had the intention of buying one but never found a used one and still haven't bought one.

That's about as far from a "Paul McCartney Bass" as can be....except violin shaped. It's cool sounding, though

I have an original early '90's body style you are using but my Original has two single coil pickups with one humbucker at the bridge. I changed those pickups out for active pickups. I must say that made a world of difference in the sound. I own at least 15 guitars, both electric and acoustic. Most are electric. This one was one of my first purchases and will say this is definitely my "GO TO" guitar. This work horse is so versatile and can be used in SO many different situations. I definitely will NEVER get rid of this guitar and will enjoy it to my dying day. I have many others that are totally worth playing and a different sound, but once you get a guitar that just fits your hands and playing style, it's hard to make any type of change no matter how expensive it is!! I have an early '80's Les Paul Custom with custom pickups potted in wax to control the sound. I must say a gorgeous sound in the Neck and Bridge. I will say the Amp used makes ALL the difference in the sound you are trying to achieve. I use a Fencer '67 Black Face Super Reverb. Its a 4x10 combo but does have one not original speaker. I know perfectionists will have an issue with this but let me tell you, the sound is there. If you want an SRV sound using a Strat, you WILL definitely achieve that sound! I have other guitars that are worth a LOT LESS than my Steinberger but definitely do play like butter like this one. It's nice to know that they are making decent guitars so many years later. I'll be honest I'm glad I have a real original Steinberger from the early '90's. I will cherish this piece of work and will play it until I die. I would never get rid of my Squire Strat that honestly plays like no other for being such a cheap guitar. I have many expensive guitars that I would sell and get rid of before I would get rid of this Squire. It's really funny that you can find really expensive guitars that play worse than some really cheaper guitars out there. While price does make a difference in a guitar purchase, YOU really must PLAY the guitar and make sure it fits you and your needs. Price can be a lot of BULLSHIT!!! Just know that when you are buying a guitar. That is VERY important to know.

Everybody locked their floppies because the boxes were flimsy and they tend to break easily, though even the lock was laughable,it gave a certain strength when moving the whole box… so the key was always inserted ;) That version of Cubase is one of the latest in the platform. Note the “Falcon compatible” note in the package, and the audio capabilities, which although completely revolutionary back in the day, it’s extremely slow by today’s standards, specially with less than 4 megs in RAM. Most people still using Ataris stick to Cubase 2.x, which will run comfortably (sorta) on a 1 MEG ST. Back in the day, all professional programs DEMAND you to back up your floppies and use only the “work” copy, never the original. If you look carefully, most disk have the “write enable” tab removed. Disk were intended to be copied for reliability, hence the dongles. Great video and amazing lot. Greetings from Spain !!!

I happen to be the proud owner of a Gibson-made Steinberger Spirit GT Pro Deluxe headless guitar in Metallic Blue finish, it's a wonderful guitar that I love to bits, mostly because of it's ergonomics, it is a really comfortable guitar to play whether you're standing up or sitting down, it weighs about 4kgs and the balance is phenomenal, no tendency for neck-diving like you get with guitars like a Gibson SG.
