It didn't work. It burned both sides and still gooey in the middle. Ruined my waffle maker 😭😭😭

Valeria, you said you put 2 cups of soaked green lentils into the blender. What measurement of dry lentils did you soak overnight 3/4 cup or more? Your tutorial was so easy to follow - thank you for making it.

One cup of dry lentils can turn into two cups after overnight soaking.

You should check "Sunset magazine". Great info about landscaping, gardening... It will let you know what climate zone you are in... In So-Cal, we are so limited growing greens, broccoli since they are cold weather crops. I am sure at the beginning it will be trial and error but you will get really good at it. It is also important for your kids to see the miracles of nature and how wonderful bees are for pollination... I use to grow strawberries (even though they were more for slugs than us), but I wanted my son to see how the heart of the flower would turn into a strawberry. I also follow UC IPM. You can Google search the link if you do not want to click directly on this link ipm.ucanr.edu There is great info about pests, vegetables & fruit trees diseases... invasive weeds... Good luck Valeria! You will do well!

You are such a wonderful mom to involve your children! For me, being European, children always ate their vegetables and fruits. I was shocked when I came to the US realizing the horrible food being given to kids.
@superchargedplantbasedlife88994 жыл бұрын
I can relate! I believe that people in US are not educated enough about the power of food choices. It’s not people’s fault, it’s corrupted government and industries that pay a lot of money to promote “ health “ benefits of their products:(

That is a beautiful salsa! I hate onions, particularly raw onions. They are the only bulbs I don't care for. I tolerate shallots in small amount and can eat cooked leaks. I feel sorry for myself sometimes for not being able to enjoy fresh Pico de Gallo or a delicious mango salsa. Thank you for the recipe Valeria!

The reason why I love eating this way is because of the simplicity of it all. Easy cleanup too and I cook my vegetables and potatoes in the microwave. (I hope the air quality all over the West coast will improve very soon. It is sunny outside but the sun is fuzzy because of the smoke. We haven't seen blue sky in a while [I live near Los Angeles]. At least, the temperature has been cool along the coast).
