Had a similar experince. I was being chased by Tyger Claws because I klept one of their vans for Regina. Then apparently they're on-sight from Maelstrom who were chilling by the side walk. The Maelstroms started raining their Mizutani with bullets and I got off scott free. NC's wild, choom.

For context, V is not "ignored" as many on the comments claim. There are cases when V's reputation preceeds them. A scav backing off after an intimadtion check, an NCPD badge calling V bad news, Hellman shitting his pants after learning you're the one who killed one of the top dogs in the Tyger Claws, I can go on. It all just depends on what you did prior and whether you'll bring them up. V still has to introduce themselves mostly because the people who don't know them have other stuff going on. Aguilar isn't exactly treated better than V. Their reputation is just scarier because they represent all of Havana. Meaning, they have a large political body backing them. They're not just afraid of Aguilar and their body count, they're afraid of Havana. Remember, the people who were threatened by Aguilar knows who they are and what they represent.

this part was just terrible, it was not scary in any way it was just stupidly frustrating.

This is why I always keep one of those orange float thingies(Air Blatter is the name, as I’ve just looked up) with me. They rapidly bring you to the surface when you pull it out and click and can ascend 100 meters in half 5~7 seconds max, and also have extra oxygen you can suck in when in an emergency, even if it’s only a small bit of oxygen.

Never thought about letting bikers hit me until now lol. Definitely gonna try that.
