I always interpreted it as an integrated rebreather system, so when the O2 runs out, it's measuring what you've got in your lungs.

@@DaniRadriendil still makes no sense. It didnt depends on how many air is in your lungs. Maybe in your blood but even this didnt means you have to collaps because you can train this. This will only make sense if this system knows your Personal best time and calculate it. But that means you have to know the exact moment when you will die from suffication, and no one on earth knows this exact point.

hold on, in both games you are probably not a pro diver, in the first game you are a wholly unprepared "sanitation officer" IIRC and maybe in the second game you trained for diving (not entirely sure if she would have had the luxury too given the dystopia) but regardless I'm fairly certain you were some kind of scientist before the issues with your sister popped up and you tried getting to the bottom of it

I usually built points in various places of my base that are simple corridors with those sealed doors on both ends, they don't flood unless there is damage inside said corridor, and as far as i remember, as long as you fix any damage inside them, they drain separately from the rest of the base

it's a different model to the one in the first game, that one is an Alterra brand PDA, while the one in below zero is an Xenoworx PDA.

The PDA is a different model in Below Zero, being made by and issued to employees of the Xenoworx company. Robin (the player character) was *supposed to* have traded it in for an Alterra model after Alterra bought out Xenoworx, but she hadn't done that yet by the time she travels to 4546B. In real life, both the Alterra and Xenoworx PDAs are voiced by a commercial text-to-speech system that got run through a few effects to make them deliberately sound more robotic. Both voices come from the same vendor. The base computer and PRAWN suit computer both still sound the same because you're using stolen Alterra hardware to do all your building.
