Your comment section greatly outlines whats wrong with both. The communities. Almost no one brings valid points and jusy taunts and its quite frankly pathetic. BMS has the luck it has of being continued from an already great product the original. Dcs has a giant scope and already offers great fidelity. Both have their flaws. Imo dcs is just slightly worse due to malpractice, community feedback handling, etc.

I lately got a copy of Falcon4.0 on Steam and really enjoyed BMS. Yeah poor graphics compared to DCS but I hardly cares. Less planes to choose but the Full fidelity F-15C happens to be in BMS.

I disagree that DCS players want to learn an aircraft in an afternoon. I know full well what im getting into when im learning a new aircraft on DCS. Its hours spent pouring over the manual, watching hour long videos, learning how to fly it and its limits, its radar, weapon/countermeasure systems, nav systems. Its not an afternoons process.

Would you not simultaneously dive to force the missile into denser air, bleeding its energy?

This is the Avsim equivalent of old school runescape. Cool it's still going, but frankly just way too dated.

What i do while attempting a notch is to drop altitude to drag the missile into the thick dense air, so even if the notch doesnt work the missile will bleed more energy and will most likely to miss.

I have to thank the community of BMS for all of this. I recently gave Falcon a go again after more than a year and a half (or even more, I don't remember tbh). After watching a few tutorials from your channel and getting my comms and link16 knowledge to level, I completed my first campaign and enjoyed a combat experience like I rarely have. Jumping from DCS to an actual dynamic, realistic enviorment, still with qol options, is a game changer. The AI feels nice and realistic and actually does what it is supposed to do (wow, dcs could never it seems). Comms are on point and performance wise it runs on a toaster with 40gb of free space. And while I understand players who like DCS, BMS gave me the singleplayer experience I wanted and does not lack the multiplayer one for me. Thank you for having all these media where I can learn more and more!

is there any way to change the sensitivity of the keybinds like roll, pitch and throttle? before 4.37.4 it was smooth, but now it feels like i'm flying a brick, i become useless if i can't turn fast like in older versions of BMS
