That original Warthog base placed on a shelf as a memento of what we had to endure for a decade, and also cause it looks pretty kool.

Very nice, your making me want to buy a new HOTAS. Like the stability of the stick. Thanks for the info.

Thank you. Very useful! I don't mind the "wobble" because that means I can do small adjustments when centered, as you do in the AAR. Great to know I might have an upgrade option once (if) this go down in price.

Have you thought about getting a force sensing base for the F-16?
@AviationPlusАй бұрын
I have thought but I personally don't think it is worth the money at this moment especially when I don't utilize a pit.
@TrueBlade-188929 күн бұрын
Problem is only a couple of old sticks work with it. If they want to compete with Virpil etc., they need some new flashy sticks.

On the flip side, if keeping your Warthog grip is important when upgrading, for marginally more you can grab a GF4 base + Warthog grip adapter from VKB for better everything, or an Orion 2 base for cheaper (you still get adjustable clutches so no wobble) + used Warthog adapter if you can find one (WW no longer sells it for some reason).

The reason is that they profit more from selling their replica of the same grio, than from the 60 dollar module to allow a competitor grip.

Thanks for good and honest review. To "wobble" (free movement, once you let the stick go) is of a concern to me. If TM can sort that out, I would not mind buying it.

Hello Excuse me, I would like to know if there is a driver to connect ava and hotas warthog?
@AviationPlus9 күн бұрын
I am sure there is. As you can see what I have and it just worked.

Aren t you interested in ffb stick from moza or winwing ?
@AviationPlus3 ай бұрын
Interested yes. Willing to buy no. I do have an Orion with F-15E throttle grips on it for when I fly the F-15 in BMS.
@DJeb863 ай бұрын
@@AviationPlus i thought that bms has abandoned ffb.
@thyhaggis71393 ай бұрын
@@DJeb86 nope i think you`re getting your wires crossed, you`re referring to the old (shall we say Legacy) FFB which physical moves the stick opposite to where you position the stick to apply a pressure feedback this is the FFB it wont support, The New Monza FFB base is really what they use to call force sensing back in the early days , in which the stick stays rigid and you apply force to it , thus you still get a feel . BMS still support force sensing FFB sticks , in fact the BMS Flight model is designed for it in mind. hope that has cleared things up ..

It seems good, just not as good as winwing, Vkb or virpil, especially for the price

It annihilates the VKB stuff.

. Cougar was such a fiasco that I will never ever again by anything from thrustmaster. Those people just don’t know how to engineer basic mechanical devices. Their electronical components were the worst in industry and their software suite was the worst ever. I don’t care if they made some improvements , I’m not a pigeon , thrustmaster banned for me

The lack of rotary dampers inside by default is embarassing from thrustmaster

@@MozTS They are there but not as strong as we would think.

@serge933 what are rotary adaptors ? My AVA arrives today.
@serge93329 күн бұрын
@@TrueBlade-1889 They are rotary dampers. They are meant to dampen the movement of the axis but they feel as if they are not even there. They do come installed. Thrustmaster mentioned they would be releasing more at some point, assumedly stronger ones. Even with this issue, I think the base is still fantastic, I love every bit of it.
