For some reason Russ popped into my head this afternoon. We worked at DRAF Tools in Mt Kisco back in the seventies and saw the band a few times. One time was in Duchess county up Rt22 and the first set bombed with the country western crowd. I don’t remember the song that the performed a bit in but they had the crowd from that point on. So sad to hear he’s gone.

That's not fox hunting. That's no more than a social gathering. Those dogs are to fat to run a fox or coyote. Dumb. Come to Texas we will show you a real fox race. We don't kill them either.

Not going to happen. Virtue display narcissists such as yourself are powerless, whining changes nothing. On Labor Day weekend I will be out cubbing, galloping across country having a fabulous time while you will no doubt sit around on your ample ass feeling guilty or angry about something. You keep plugging away at your misguided and futile attempts at forcing the rest of humanity to be more like you, a shining paragon of goodness. Meanwhile the rest of us will continue to look better, live better and not waste our lives emulating Greg Wiley. By the way, are you an expert on vulpes vulpes? Personally I don't think you are in any position to have an opinion on the safety of a mammal of higher intelligence than yourself.

They were my favorite bar band of the time, Yorktown Heights, Put Valley, and around. The way they would up tempo so many songs that I used to dance to. Sad to find out he passed so young. He was the man

I used to play in the same circuit as Rusty. Seem them perform several times. Great band. Very sorry to hear the news.

No, just very excited!! Shubie is very friendly especially to kids. When he sees children he starts wagging his tail. They are great dogs, just not for everyone: )

Depends upon the Whippet. An older one would need less exercise...mine is high energy but others can be mellower.

Your Shubie looks (and acts) like my whippet, Sam. Sam even has a similar white mark on his rump and also has thedark mask with white...They must be related! Sam also barks when he is frustrated. Thanks for sharing Shubie with the world!

My greyhound-whippet spins when he's very excited. --As many as 5 times. The dog-coat is a good idea. I sewed one together from a sheepskin (bathmat). Wool on the in side. With wool on the out side it sheds water.

lovely film of a happy young whippet. mines quite static compared to this one a dignified lady. good amount of snow wherever you are.
