I used to play in the same circuit as Rusty. Seem them perform several times. Great band. Very sorry to hear the news.

They were my favorite bar band of the time, Yorktown Heights, Put Valley, and around. The way they would up tempo so many songs that I used to dance to. Sad to find out he passed so young. He was the man

For some reason Russ popped into my head this afternoon. We worked at DRAF Tools in Mt Kisco back in the seventies and saw the band a few times. One time was in Duchess county up Rt22 and the first set bombed with the country western crowd. I don’t remember the song that the performed a bit in but they had the crowd from that point on. So sad to hear he’s gone.
