Won't go past motor and props so it only cleans 3/4 of bottom! Won't take barnacles off either. Then client complains about the part that stays dirty on the sides and bottom that it didn't reach

i am a hd apprentice and had the problem everyone wanted 5yrs marine experience, got declided a lot but found a company willing to take me on, working on bigger yachts , or even sailboats all running diesel engines. bit of a learning curve how all the systems work (hydraulic stabilizers,thrusters, watermakers, but learning and liking the transition. it did take a bit for me to find a company but also a apprentice. just keep on applying, a lot of what we do translates over just different words used. a engine is a engine, and a pump is a pump. keep at er man

@@aaron-fauth The only way that Yamaha talks to GPS is through it's sounder, if you have that option! It does not control the throttle! The speedometer is controlled by a small wheel at the ride plate and has nothing to do with cruise control! It's set up like a governor, up hill and down dale, the same rpm!

Yes as nature uses 2 stroke energy all around us, all lightning bolts are 2 strokes! No cams, no valves, no oil or gas, just bang boom! i notice a lot of folks on here saying how much they hate this new etec outboard, why are they on here watching it if they hate it so much, hmmm.

since Evinrude was sold to BRP who makes the god-awful motors for the worst reliability everything in the market...they have become the same. Insane futuristic looks, hard lines and still god awful reliability. I'd take a Merc or preferably a Yamaha over this even if it was half the price.

I believe it was simply the portside Surf Gate preset. It placed the wave's sweet spot about 7 to 8 feet behind the swim platform. The larger Power Wedge 2 is the equivalent of adding 300lbs. more ballast, which helps with wave size. However, our test boat had the all the optional ballast tanks as well.

My gawd, outboard motors have become monster size! Taller than the men showing them off! I guess I'm showing my age. When OMC came out with a 200 in 1976 - we all thought [OMG] its huge! By todays standards, they are tiny.
