Are you from the area? Just watched your review of the BMW 535i and found this. I work in Athens but live to the north of. So tragic what happened!at Apalachee. It’s not the guns, it’s evil in the heart of man. If they didn’t have a gun they would find another way to do their evil. I grew up in a house with guns and we never thought twice about messing with them or anything crazy. I’m in the market for a BMW 535i as well. Been looking in line. It scares me though. So afraid I’ll get one with major issues. I have been finding 2014-2016 with mileage as low as 35,000. How I’d love one. I once owned a 2004 BMW 325i and loved the inline 6 and how that car ran. Been loving BMW since I was in my early teens and I’m 53 now. I just don’t want one of the very modern ones that has lost what they once were.
@BitterCarGuyКүн бұрын
The F10 535i is fairly reliable if you (1) do oil and filter changes every 5k miles, (2) you do minimal mods eg no engine tunes, etc and (3) you constantly keep good tire pressure. It's a heavy car and the wheels bend easily which will result in shakes. Keep the car stock, change the oil often and life will be good.
@craig9843Күн бұрын
@@BitterCarGuy Thanks for your reply. I am one for frequent oil changes more than what some car makes recommend. I have a 2019 Toyota RAV4 and do oil changes about every 5000 miles instead of the recommended 10,000 miles. When I had my 2004 325i I want to say BMW recommended 15,000 or 15,500? Could be wrong but it was way up there. I’d never do that. I’m hearing to many horror stories of lots of sludge buildup.

There are so few cars now that feel inspiring. Seems we figured out how to make the perfect car by the 2010s and now they just try new stuff even if it won't work, just so they can sell a different one every year. You get into one of these new cars and it feels more like a big fancy computer than a well-built machine.

How come you compare the Temerario to a Porsche 992.2 GTS which does not compete in the same category, let alone in a completely different price range ? It makes sense with the 296 GTB and the Artura, but not the others.😎

Jaguar is gone, they should focus on being the working mans Bentley but nope. They’d rather make bland crossovers/suvs instead of attractive hybrid V8 saloon and coupes. Jag will never compete with Mercedes, bmw and Audi. They may as well embrace being niche and make exclusively niche cars. Aka just bring back the bloody e type for crying out loud

I have a jaguar ,and I don't no what the future holds. I will think they will probably go under, unless they produce something spectacular in the near future. Having only one model and a limited ordinance, I don't think will work. The few followers will not keep the company afloat, and reliability issues in the past, they need a sports car And a saloon, not everyone wants an SUV . The die hard fans after all need a sports car, the heritage of jaguar is the sports car . Just another British Icon disappearing, not that it's British anymore ?.

Like virtually all automakers, Jaguar also seemed to be run by bean counters who just couldn't see fit to offer quality in their vehicles, and it certainly showed. In fact, the quality issues appeared to have gotten increasingly worse during the last few years. Well, all that could do was to further erode the already deplorable dependability of those vehicles, and ward off even more potential buyers in the process. Actually, that was exactly what apparently happened. So what is the solution? Well, that company urgently needs to find a new buyer and management that would be devoted to restoring the quality and dependability that would be befitting of a premium luxury vehicle like the Jaguar. No, Jaguar should stick with the internal combustible engines, or the brand will become history to be sure.
