I have so much childhood memories. Mr stavro use to allow the children to eat all we can eat in the store. Cheese string,fruits and snacks and juice boxes. I always told people this was the grocery store, when I was a child. We had so fun going. He never discriminate,he talked to everyone and treated everyone with respect, no matter your race. Thanks for giving me a child hold memories Mr stavro wherever you're in heaven .you were a good man with a massive heart . Thanks a million

I believe The Rhythm Twins had another single called “Love Has No Name” that was more like goth technopop textures with 16th note LinnDrum patterns, and there was a video with lots of eyeliner and tarot cards. I think the people who make dark synthwave and outrun music would appreciate it if they could see it.

Indeed. First heard/saw it in the mid-80s on City Limits with Christopher Ward. Stark, b&w, low-budget video, but one that caught my attention and traces of the song lingered in a back corner of my brain for years. Every time I remembered it and tried to find it, no luck - until the misspelling of the band name was pointed out to me. Bought the LP a couple of years back: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmHHnJemepanfK8

I started watching occasionally in 80 as a child and regularly in 82,i loved all the characters, especially terry lester as the original jack,and the whole entire Abbott family.i loved all the characters and storylines,it definitely was the best overall soap opera 80s,90s and just every character was great,danny,cricket, nina,phillip, katherine, jill ,all the newmans and Abbotts.

I still regret being hired at a new job while drama was unfolding. Paul's dad was a cop, and for some reason Paul joined the mob to eventually help his dad. Of course, Paul had to be believable as a mobster, so his dad was very hurt by his apparent descent into crime. Never found out how that turned out.

This place was awesome. I went to the one in Cambridge, Ontario as a kid. The shopping carts were so big me and my siblings would go on the bottom compartment and just enjoy the ride while our parents shopped around lol the Arcade near the entrance was fun as well. I remember playing Virtual Fighter when it came out. Good times.

My family and myself are Jamaicans and we all use to shop at Knob Hills near Keele in Toronto. We enjoyed shopping there and it sold everything we needed. It was fun for all of us. I truly thank Mr Stavros for the idea of open up such a huge superstore that made shopping fun.

I remember going there when I had to go to sick kids for appointments a couple times. There was a Goodwill and some other store in the same building as well, and I remember getting some chocolate ball which, like Kinder Surprise, had a toy inside it.

This one looks a little nicer than the one in Markham. That one looked like a store straight out of a 3rd world country. I walked in there ONCE and I couldn't believe how they could compete with more modern stores like Loblaws.

I loved that place. It was one of the first grocery stores I went to after moving to Toronto in '91. That was so fun shopping there as a kid with not much money. I went to the one at Lansdowne and Dundas. They had a cereal annex and a bargain basement under it. Birds would be flying inside. Bulk feta cheese at a good price, and everything else at a good price too!

Can u pls tell me what year Victor had the affair on Nikki with Ashley and did he leave Nikki for Ashley I think this was in 1986
@MrJuly1990ish9 жыл бұрын
+Patricia Williams I recall Victor & Ashley started to get involved, matter of fact they had kissed each other in the Chancellor mansion (I think Kay had the party) on New Year's Eve 1984. I was able to catch that episode, because we were on xmas/new years vacation (from high school) for two weeks. I lost track of the show, do to the fact I was back in school, but around spring time (spring break 1985), I did catch a few episodes. If memory serves me well, I thiink Ashley had another nervous breakdown (the first one was due to John Abbott not being her father) do to fact she was pregnant with Victor's child and lost it (I think?).
