This concept of "TRON in the 'real' world" is simply from DEI hire idiot writers who are creativly BANKRUPT. Will probably be WOKE as well. Unless the 'cool' old school reviewers recommend it....I am staying far away. Sorry.

I would love it if Sam Flynn makes an appearance as a more experienced user, kinda like Tony Stark that tinkers with grid tech or makes his own grid tech because he planned to save his Dad, and once he sees Ares make an appearance, he comes out of hiding and does his thing. That AND return of TRON would make me all the more satisfied for the long wait of this movie having to be delayed. It seems like an interesting idea, but Dillinger having control of Encom after Sam Flynn said he was taking back the company at the end of Legacy and that Allen Bradley was the Chair person raises many questions…. I hope they answer it and DONT kill their characters off. Also too, The Kevin Flynn could be a projected hologram too, kinda being used as a temporary mask/ influencer towards Ares for what/whoever evil doer wants to take control of the grid/ human world till they’re revealed at the end… Which would also make me mad because it would feel like Flynn was evil in two movies…. I guess time will tell.

Had no idea Tron Identity was a thing. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I have played a few of the Tron games over the years. The one on the wii (I think it was battleground?), Tron Run, the Tron collection on the Xbox 360, and Tron Evolution (which I still do playthroughs of), but I missed that Identity. I'm excited and worried for this film. I'm excited because it's Tron. That alone has me excited, but I'm worried that it is not going to *feel* like Tron. Not having Sam, Quorra, or Tron on the cast list feels like a mistake, and heading to the real world might cause a few continuity issues. For example: how are the light cycles supposed to function at all? Quorra mentions to Sam in Legacy when she breaks him out of the light cycle arena that they can't pursue them due to their cycles not being designed to operate off-grid. Letto's light cycle doesn't appear to have the modifications Quorra's light runner did, so I'm a bit confused there.

As dated as the old one. It’s really like a modern anime. There’s so much more lore and characters. There’s 3/4 main characters: Flyn,Tron, Clu, & the girl. Then there’s like 3 villains. Master control. Dillinger & Dillinger’s program. I hope ai does a reskin of the first movie w/ Tron legacy graphics.

I had the same general concern myself. How do you have a Tron movie not take place primarily in the grid? Maybe have it leave the grid and have to end back in the grid? There could even be potential for it to get simulation theory ish in the real world if they wanted to peel the onion. 🤷🏽

I'm currently watching the original Tron movie on Blu ray. I never get tired of watching it. Its still great and still stands out today. Tron gave birth to Pixar and we just wouldn't have the. Fantastic Disney Pixar films id it wasn't for Tron.

He's a normal guy. You don't want to make him depressed or at a level of fuck it.... thats not bad.... ForGetMeNot's power is so much worse! Once you stop looking at him, you lose all memory of him. He will always be forgotten. No one can ever love him. Another one I forget his name, but Wolverine had to kill him because everyone within range of him just incinerated, including his whole family the moment his powers kicked in.
