Sad to think about Layne. Another immensely talented young man gone too soon. It's a shame that his name is rarely mentioned as one of the greatest frontmen of all time. The notes he was able to hit is just unheard of

Layne chased the dragon down the hole and no rehabilitation would stop him. Died with the syringe still stuck in his arm 2 weeks after he died. So sad, what a talent, gone to waste

The thing that made Alice In Chains so great is that Layne had Jerry as a back up singer. They could both sing extremely well. It’s absolutely criminal that they aren’t in the rock n roll HoF. RIP Layne 🤙🏻
