aha couldn't agree more,I've sadly had to grow up with the sad pathetic excuse they now like to call music... it's sad to think most the kids of my generation don't even know who these guys are,let alone anyone from the grunge/alternative scene. It sickens me to know that it can only get worse from here. I'm also pretty upset about the fact that I not only missed out on GOOD music by 20 years, but when my future children hear this they're gunna be like "shit, I didn't just miss out on seeing these guys, but mom did too" Kind of funny that when my Dad bought these CDs that 25 years later his daughter was going to steal them all.

Even better than the studio cut. Mind blowing really. How Layne harmonized with the guitar and how he belts out the lyrics , Jerry's solo the grinding sinister rhythm section . The perfect heavy rock song. Unmatched by their fellow Seattle bands.

I see a lot of comments comparing Nirvana and AIC and speaking as someone that has A) seen them both in concert and B) spent time -albeit pretty fleeting- with both I would like to say this. They were both INCREDIBLE live. Both groups were filled with amazingly kind and very...conflicted people. Don't pit the two groups against each other, they were both undeniably amazing in their own right and both deserve to be celebrated for the creative geniuses that they were. Side note: Courtney really was a huge bitch, though.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I wasn't a huge fan of Alice in Chains until this year because I always thought Layne's vocals were too layered and overproduced. Turns out that's just how perfect he is with the rest of the band that I didn't believe it was possible to sound like this naturally.
