When i wad in my early 20s i worked in the forestry whem i came across jack for the first time huntig deer spent the day with him great memories what a gent would always buy you loads of pints we would sit and talk all day about anything from fishing to hunting huge man but a pure gent

I had the privilege to meet jack Charlton on a river in west kerry in sw ireland and what a gent i showed him all the pools in the river where the fish were and he toom me for a few pints back in a village called brandon what a man

Lea Macnally Jr taught me lots during my time as a ghillie on glen quioch . like his father on screen here in his element , they are the last of the real old time deerstalkers . i hope both Lea jr and his brother Michael are still going strong. i last saw them around 15 years ago
