I'm sure if Caltex chase wasn't there, that A9X would of done much higher speeds on Conrod.

Was trying to figure out where he was losing all the time compared to racers back in the day 😂😂😂 clean forgot they changed the track since 79 😂😂😂 . Sure this lad not going to go full send in a classic either 😂😂😂 would guess he driving harder than i would be by the look of it

I found myself only looking at the Torana side of the screen Something about them that we have lost. Excellent work especially getting the two images so close together. Thank you for the enjoyable viewing

@sammy75077 жыл бұрын
M Newton i was thinking the same must be a recent historic race i wish i had a 5 speed in my SLR instead of the m21
@kobie7515 Жыл бұрын
@@sammy7507 5 speed obviously good but period correct box for A9X track cars was super T10 4 spd . Very strong box and good option for SLR/SS with big hp engine

What the hell engine is in that car, what does it rev to? that's insane. Love it! !
@slacey30810 жыл бұрын
Nascar 6 litre Chev, revving to 8000 rpm, putting out approx. 700HP.
@bobdopelina352110 жыл бұрын
That is INSANE!! What engine is that, HP and Torque figures? You obviously know how to drive very well, and the video shows just how busy you are steering it around . Well done Sir!

this vid just makes my day,, that souunnd!!!,,,, reminds me of dads old torana dubbo to narromine on a winding road, 40ks in 10 minutes 308 4 speed slr,,, they are outgunned by todays machines but still absolute monsters on track, nats or road :))

Lol I forgot all about it cos it was so quiet
@slacey30811 жыл бұрын
Very close. The Torrie does just have the legs going up the Mountain, but soon as you put a few corner in, the VK is back there and ever so slightly quicker down the mountain. What you didn't comment on is the squeaky clutch spring is fixed in the Torrie. This repair featured heavily on the list when it was at the workshop. I had the word MUST BE FIXED highlighted.
@autocuremotorsport11 жыл бұрын
what did you use to amalgamate the 2 videos?
@autocuremotorsport11 жыл бұрын
wow, soo close, But id still take the VK over the Torrie, only cos its gearbox sounds soooo sweet, lol
@TeamRacemods11 жыл бұрын
nice idea with the lap time starting at start of straight lets you do 1 quick then 1 slow on your timer but not doing a quick lap as per tracks finish line. win/win sweet

Hi Ryan, yep got hammered in race 2. Got away ok, but the guy two rows in front stalled and then got going. As we all went like scattered cats, i got hit from behind and spun around. Got a great view of the rest of the field as i was up against the wall facing the wrong way.

@vk498712 жыл бұрын
ah, lacey the intimidatort....the little yellow dato had to surrender after seeing you in his left mirror. turn one at the creek is a serious corner, i reckon more so than turn one at the island. so, did you have a pulpitation at the 3 minute mark through turn 1?
@vk498712 жыл бұрын
nice steve. you be pretty happy with the new toy i would say.
