this vid just makes my day,, that souunnd!!!,,,, reminds me of dads old torana dubbo to narromine on a winding road, 40ks in 10 minutes 308 4 speed slr,,, they are outgunned by todays machines but still absolute monsters on track, nats or road :))

Your right there. No power steering, fuel injection, ABS or Traction control, just a 34 year old Holden Legend. Only electonics on board is the data logger plugged into the ciggy lighter.

Thanks, Shame you only just go to me. A couple of weeks ago i was advertising for guys to run at Bathurst this Easter. As you'd expect i got alot more interest, than i had space. Would have been great to have another Torrie in the group. As it is we have three Hatches & an XU1 booked.

Was trying to figure out where he was losing all the time compared to racers back in the day 😂😂😂 clean forgot they changed the track since 79 😂😂😂 . Sure this lad not going to go full send in a classic either 😂😂😂 would guess he driving harder than i would be by the look of it

Went a bit harder this year, still not risking it across the top though. Ran 3 secs quicker than this vid. This years run is on the Channel also.

​​@@sammy7507 5 speed obviously good but period correct box for A9X track cars was super T10 4 spd . Very strong box and good option for SLR/SS with big hp engine
