I was working in high tech. One part of my job that I hated was giving presentations. I mean I hated it so bad that I went to a doctor for help. He wasn't much help, so I decided to start making videos as a way of putting myself out there. I am terribly shy in front of people, and so I started making videos based on some of the same content as you but more camping related stuff. I am not as good at as you, but I think I am doing it for the same reasons as you. Mental health. I don't have a huge audience, but most of my people have been super nice with comments of which, I thought would be the death of me. It has worked somewhat. I still don't like doing presentations, but I don't get as sick as I used to. I do videos that I like to do because for me it is about the mental health and not the money or the followers. Don't get me wrong, I love having followers, but I also love just making videos when I can. I have been a subscriber to your channel for a long time, and I do enjoy your content, because you do what I like to do, but I do wish I was as adventurous as you in that just picking up and running up to Moab for a couple day trip would be awesome. Cheers

Well you just gained another subscriber! I've always been very lucky or just odd that public speaking has never really bothered me. I've gotten out of so much work in school when it came to group projects. Everyone else would do all the work if I presented the entire thing. I did it to. This was one of the other reason I leaned toward KZbin vs other social media platforms. Being on camera is similar to being in front of a bunch of people. I'm glad your videos have helped you overcome some of the anxiety related to presentations, facing fears like that goes a long way to helping you overcome them. Thank you for the kinds words and I appreciate you being a long time subscriber!
@azxp20 күн бұрын
@CodeBrownProductions Thank you for your kind words also....Thank you for subscribing. Like I said earlier, I do this for myself for the reason you stated, "Mental health, so I have to work up courage to publish each video. I do feel some success, but I don't have a real nich for my channel. It is mostly camping/overlanding/quadding and Jeeping. I do try and throw in some DIY/How-tos. It is really all over the place. Something I will work on later. Thanks again for your patience and understanding, and I hope it helps that you are not alone in this crazy social media craziness. Cheers

Thanks for your thoughts and views. You have a great talent in the way you put together your videos and adventures. You should keep going-(putting one foot in front of the other)-and keep up the great work of showing us the adventures we all should be doing. As you pointed out, too many of us sit on the couch wishing, or missing out on the adventures we should be pursuing. Hopefully you will restart YOUR adventures and share them with us. And, to hopefully motivate us to follow suit. You have a following, but don't get caught in the viewer numbers. Just keep doing what you are doing, and the rest will take care of itself. Produce MORE videos. Hope to see you soon.
@CodeBrownProductions20 күн бұрын
You're 100% correct, I got discouraged from the view count, when I should have been focusing more on just continuing to do what I enjoy. Making more videos forces me to GET OUT AND DO MORE. So that's the plan, set a goal and refocus. Thank you!
@thomg33620 күн бұрын
@@CodeBrownProductions Give us a heads up when you go out on the trails. Hopefully we can meet up on the BDR in Wyoming or Colorado. Maybe Moab. It's all about meeting new people and pursuing new adventures. See you on the trails.

Thank you for everyone for putting out this video. I can tell you put great thought into every word you just said to us and there is nothing wrong with writing it down so you get it right when delivering it to us. Thinking about what you replied to one comment , don't try so hard to do one a week that it becomes a job you have to do. Enjoy your time out wheeling as we enjoy watching, even though we would rather be in our vehicle right behind you.
@CodeBrownProductions20 күн бұрын
Well said! I think the goal behind trying for once a week is to just make sure that I am doing something each week, it may end up being every other week. But I do best when setting goals and striving for them. If you ever see me on the trails feel free to tag along and join in, I would love to have you.

Dude: Make videos for YOU. Make them to help you remember the details of the amazing places you've seen. Make them to share with your friends and loved ones. Make them to help YOU share them with whoever else wants to see them and to inspire others/strangers to get out there and see those things. Or similar things. Or maybe not so similar things. But to get out there and *LIVE.* As long as KZbin isn't your only/main source of income (😅), IGNORE THE STATISTICS. They are meaningless. Publish what you want to publish and screw the rest of the world. Nobody needs the extra stress. Life is WAY too short for that crap.

After having two cars converted to propane, I found the most important and impressive thing about propane is you can use an adapter hose and refill a car or an empty propane tank with another tank by holding the full tank upside down and letting the liquid fill the empty tank whenever a fuel station is not near by. The one thing they don't tell you is with propane, no carbon, no dirty oil as your oil stays clean but don't forget to check your oil level and know it will remain clean with no carbon to blacken it up.

You need more experience, I see you accelerate into gulches that you should have crawled in and out of fine. The beginning of the trail is the most difficult, it's called the gate-keeper, if you get past that you can generally make it through . Running trails gets psychological quickly, you just gotta take your time and do it in manageable steps - it's called endurance in the offroading world. If you see a trail labeled 4x4 with endurance it's going to stretch you beyond your means; just remember, you need a reliable spotter, patience, and time. camp it out and enjoy yourself
