How to install a Magpul stock on a Beretta 1301 Tactical Shotgun

Didn't see much in the way of good videos on how to do this so I thought I would make my own. I've wanted this shotgun for awhile now but really liked the feel and look of the Magpul stock on it. So far I love the conversion and I hope you guys find the video helpful!

I just did this. I discovered that the rod you have to remove is really hard to get off. I was worried I was going damage it, but it finally came off. They used a lot of lock tight from the factory.

They sure did. I made it look easy on camera because I had already previously cussed and fought to get it off before I filmed lol

Use a 13mm wrench to unscrew it. There’s a cut slant at the base for the wrench

I added a limbsaver recoil pad to it and shot it for the first time today. The recoil pad required me to get a rear adaptor but it was worth it. What a difference!!!! The felt recoil is MUCH less. I had a big smile after shooting it today.

I’ve got a H&R Pardoner 12ga pump which I thought was almost the same as a Remington 870, but I bought a Remington 870 forearm replacement with a tactical light on it but it doesn’t fit. Just thought I’d let you know that so others wouldn’t be buying it

Yes, the Magpul stock on the Beretta 1301 Tactical works great, but you won't be able to put in a Single point adapter with the Magpul stock. You can have on with the original stock and that part is made GG&G, but they do not make an adapter for the Magpul stock.

Boy did I screw up. I bought a 1301 with the Mesa Tactical stock on it but I wanted options so I decided to order a stock. I passed on Magpul (Why my dumb ass did that I can't tell you) and ordered from Beretta. Beretta sells this stock for $120 and that is for the stock only, no parts included. So along with my $120 piece of thin plastic I had to order a $54.00 recoil pad because we all know recoil pads aren't part of the stock. I've bought over 10 Magpul stocks for AR's and not had to order a rubber pad and screws to use them. OK, pissed off now at my almost $200 order I waited over a week and my box arrived. It's still in the box because the two screws to mount the recoil pad that should have been included are $18.00 plus shipping so I'm paying almost $20 per screw because I was stupid enough to trust Beretta. It's going to cost around $250 and 1/2 month because I dealt with Beretta. Note* Prior to ordering I sent Beretta (2) emails asking if any other parts will be needed, both emails went unanswered. I called Beretta and was put on hold for 1 hour 10 minutes before hanging up. I called Beretta again and selected the option of having them call me back but again, not a response after waiting a day by the phone. I have heard nightmares and saw many KZbin videos at how bad Berettas customer service was and still went through them so there's nobody to be mad at except myself.

Can you put lights in the barrel clamp? Is it a mlok? It looks like there is a qd hole there as well. Is that what it is? Undecided on this shotgun or the mossberg 940 tactical.
