I heard it at my friend's, I was15 and I was cracking up. Now a year or so at 53, I'm smiling. Thanks Tim.

What I love about this piece of music was it highlighted ALL of the Members ability to play and sing. John didn’t some Wicked harmonies . All of the members were key to this piece

Is it just me, or did Pete Townsend have more of an accent when he was young?

It drives me nuts when they just put video to the music that isn’t of the song being played.

Until it glitches out, this video and the long intro are phenomenal. The audio is fantastic. Great version.

I once juggled hackie sacks in the wilderness to this song, tossing them as high as I could, maybe 50 feet, while banging my head and jumping around and howling like a crazy person.

I always thought if there was a song that most captured what the Who was about in a live setting, it's these a qucik one live renditions between 68 and 70 The sheer power, the outrageous theatre, and the sense of humour

1964 Cardiff, Wales...Sophia Gardens ( everyone standing,no seating) Curtains opened , whole band on stage except Moon !,,,They start playing and from the back comes Keith Moon playing his drum sticks on the floor, coming up the middle to the stage ! Nuts

Apart from the primal live power of the Who they had assets that are often overlooked: unusual but fantatic harmonies in the 60's by Pete, John (&Keith) and an irreverent sense of comedy and the absurd in their live banter and playing around that made it such hilarious fun to catch the Who live❤🎉
This song would never be able to be made nowadays...A Girl Guide, the lap of an engine driver and a quickie....No sireeeeee...😬

The Who forever. А теперь шутка. Профессиональный барабанщик легко стряхивает градусник до минус 12 😂😂😂

A 5 minute explanation of a pop song, the other 3 must have loved that every night. Townshend is a genius, but sadly was, and still is a portentous and pretentious bag of wind.
