Does anyone else get this overwhelming feeling of longing while watching The Who in their prime?? I mean, they were so so so great that it pains me that these days are gone. There will never be another band that is this powerful on stage ever again.

I Feel The Same - Would've loved to party with Keith for even just 24hrs - He KNEW How to have FUN - & could get away with Crazy Shit! If I could go back in time (1Time) - See an early Who show, & then Party with Keith after - that's what I would do - without a Doubt. Not The Stones or The Beatles or The Kinks. I am too Young to have seen the Loon, But I was lucky to see Entwistel with Rodger & Pete preform QUADROPHENIA - & I'll NEVER forget THAT show. STILL - It would have been SO MUCH BETTER if Keith had Been there TOO (of Course)!! Favorite Band - & Favorite Drummer - Bassist - Singer, & Power Chord playing Songwriter.

I became a huge Who fan when I was 10 years old. I bought all their albums and knew all their songs by heart. I was lucky enough to see them live in 1989 when I was 18 and I remember walking out of the stadium thinking to myself…. I get it now. I understand why they’re the greatest band ever. Those songs were written to be played in front of an audience. It was the most incredible concert I’ve ever seen to this day. Baba O’Riley live? 72,000 people singing along with Pete during that break. Forget about it….. you can’t get any better than that.

I just love getting into this during the acapella part and feeling pumped for the song to kick in when I get interrupted by a fucking commercial. Thank you KZbin! You really know how to make a video special.

Somehow in the midst of all that power, there’s a Renaissance Madrigal or something... John starts in with those super-clear high notes “You Are Forgiven”....and it’s another century.
