I don't have the exact link, but USGS maps are part of the public domain, so if you go to the usgs.gov website, there is a map viewer that you can zoom in and find maps of the areas you are looking at.

Where would one access that map?

Don't have the link directly, but the USGS has a few public map tools on their website that are very useful and packed with good maps, once you figure out how to use the website. www.usgs.gov/products/maps

Beautiful pieces ❤, I've just cut a few myself but I haven't polished any yet.
@timosecosystem Жыл бұрын
Thank you. I'm finding that polishing takes a bit more of a setup. Gonna be trying to figure out a system to get better results and be more efficient.

Thank you very much! I'm hoping to make more. So much fun find minerals and rocks. Sometimes it about enjoying their beauty as nature made it and sometimes it is turning them into something beautiful to wear or decorate.

Man, I really want chickens 😭 but there's a real threat of drawing mountain lions to my backyard if I get them.
@timosecosystem2 жыл бұрын
Yes, predators are always an issue, but Lions are whole other level of "issue" to have to deal with. Yikes!

The lowest on the pecking order being the most aggressive is something we've seen in the pups as well. I guess it's a pretty universal thing: if you're confident in your position/ authority you're not threatened by newcomers, but if you're not, you'll be desperate to establish dominance ASAP... I'd argue that holds true in most office environments too 😅
@timosecosystem4 жыл бұрын
Yes, we are literally seeing the "pecking order" being formed! Maybe a law of nature, and explains so many social situations. Humans and dogs aren't so far evolved from chickens I guess, LOL!
