I loves the way Sam Raimi praised Mr Campbell's good looking. Actually Sam Raimi also good looking and cute but God meet him and be friend with someone who more handsome than him. That's why you in position as director and Mr Campbell as actor. Both of you make successful in cinema and proud to yourself.....

I think this has been edited. I watched it in 1992, and there were scenes from "Six Months to Live," and a short skit where Sam Raimi kills the Pillsbury Doughboy...

I was born in the 90s, but I love the horror movies of the 80s, especially The Evil dead and Evil dead 2, I have never lived in the 80s, but I always feel that there is a part of my soul that belongs to the 80s, this It feels weird, this video always makes me feel like it taking me back to a time I'm familiar with but I've never seen..

came out in 1981, and Sam was about 20 years old when he was making the movie, but okay

I think the most important thing you get from this is the sheer childlike enthusiasm Raimi projects from making movies. And the magic is he still gives off that energy.

is he wearing his costume for intruder in the beginning?
@THX114582 жыл бұрын
It's funny to hear Sam's response to the question "How happy are you with the final product, Evil Dead II?", in which he replies "It's OK" , considering that the film is now considered to be one of the most influential and highly regarded horror films of the 1980s.

Oh come on the tree scene wasn't nothing too far. Its a fucking DEMON, these things go out of their way to harass and hurt humans in the worst ways possible. It makes perfect sense.
@reckless20 Жыл бұрын
Makes perfect sense to blame non-existent demons for the worst things a human mind can come up with. Most of these things start as a fantasy, and spreading it among lots of people leaves a chance of someone to make it a reality. They should've at least make it into a joke that would bring some conclusion to the whole idea.

Not too long after this interview, he'd go on to direct Darkman (which was originally going to be the first movie iteration of 'The Shadow' if I recall) followed by Army of Darkness.

Crimewave is, at the very least, entertaining to watch. Like a live-action carto0n of demented do0m. If Sam and company had had to have had their way, it would have been even more betterer. But as it is, it's "not great, not terrible."
@judsongaiden98782 жыл бұрын
Sam Raimi is like the MacGyver of renegade cinema. 9:27 Ackchyually, they're all in their early 20s. Cheryl's the youngest and she's 20.
