Thats a very cool perspective, downrange from the business ends. How did they compare in your experience, even with the 5-1/2" barrel difference?

To me, they were almost identical. The only things I noticed were the tone was a little deeper with the KGM and the gas blowback about 50% less than the surefire. Awesome can for an awesome price.

@direct_infringement6614
@direct_infringement6614 Ай бұрын
If I were to get a 10mm I’d only go FN 510. That’s just me though. I’ve seen some issues with every 10mm out there besides the FN. they’re $$ but reliable and built to last forever.

nice clean piece, not over the top, all black with the green dot, I like it. I run a micro comp with a ported barrel. I don't have a suppressor but I'd love to eventually get one.

What zero did you have? And were you zeroed with 62 or 55? I’m trying to decide something. I have thousands of rds of 5.56 in 55g. The new optic I’m wanting is recommending 62g to use their provided reticle marks with a 50 yd zero. Right now I am 36yd zeroed with 55g. I’m curious what the poa poi difference will be.
@direct_infringement6614
@direct_infringement6614 Ай бұрын
My zero was with 55 grain. If you’re going to stick with that optic and start shooting mostly 62 then re-zero for 62 grain Just remember your shifts when shooting 55. If not then just zero for 55 (mostly bc it’s more available and cheaper) and know your holds for 62. 1:7 twist barrels like 62-70 grain bullets also so maybe take that into consideration as well. I need to do ALOT more testing and zeroing and finally make the move to shooting mostly 62 grain. Lots of load development to do. Good luck!

There is ZERO reason to have a G19 when you can get a G23 with a 9mm AND .357 Sig AND .22LR conversion barrel/slide. 4 ammos > 1 ammo in the same pistola.
@direct_infringement6614
@direct_infringement6614 Ай бұрын
Well the reason is, I already own a G19, so I can’t grab a gun and a barrel and ammo that i don’t have and run anywhere.

Yeah these choices make sense. It'd have to be 2 pistols and a rifle unless you want to carry two long guns.

Good. Just like me. 2 pistols and 1 rifle. Mine… 1. A 9mm pistol. One I can conceal IWB. 2. A modular semiautomatic rifle that can chamber 5.56 AND .308. Desert Tech MDRX or Primary Weapons Systems UXR. Battle and hunting rifle. 3. Springfield XD45 Tactical. I can put it in a CAA MCK. Covers the close quarters self defense part that a shotgun would do without that harsh recoil.

With this same ammo (55grn) I have been able to shoot .5” groups at 50 yd and 2” groups at 200 consistently. Something may be wrong with your gun if you can’t even get under an inch at 50.

Being that you’re left handed like me, I would consider changing out the wood furniture man. Yeah the wood looks nice, but for us left hand shooters, wood furniture does us no justice. I have all hogue furniture on my m70; hogue lower handguard with the picatinny rails that I added to it, hogue pistol grip, cheese grater upper guard, and then put a buffer tube and hogue m4 stock. Our sling setup has to be on the right side, so you need a stock with qd points and a lower handguard with picatinny rail or mlok. if you haven’t swapped out the wood furniture yet, trust me, you will eventually

I don’t care for BHO mags, but I do have quite a few zastava 30 round polymer mags and a few of their polymer 40 round mags. Despite the 30 round polymers having steel locking lugs, they don’t have steel reinforced lips: and the 40 rounder is all polymer. If the 30 rounders had reinforced feed lips and didn’t have the BHO follower, I would give the 30 round polymers a 10/10. Zastavas 30 round polymers run extremely well and are extremely well built despite not having reinforced feed lips. And they fit very snug in all my rifles. I absolutely love their 30 round polymers and think they’re the best looking polymer mags. I need to ask them why their 40 rounders don’t even have steel lugs bc there’s no reason to not have them on the 40’s, but have them on the 30’s; especially the price the 40’s sell for. But for price and quality, the Bulgarian steel mags and polymer mags are my favorite and the Bulgarian mags make up about 50-60% of all my mags. The Bulgarian 30 rounders have steel lugs and steel reinforced feed lips, have a tight fit and are made extremely well like zastavas. Their steel mags are just my favorite steel mags bc of the quality of the steel and snug fit (except for a couple of my steel Bulgarian mags that have a looser fit which I’m not sure why). But the Bulgarian polymer 40 rounders are all polymer like zastavas 40 rounders. But the Bulgarian 40 round polymers are sooo damn loose. Those mags feel like they’re about to fall out. They feed well and I’ve never had an issue at the shooting range since those are my range mags. But regardless, Bulgarian steel and polymer mags along with zastava 30 round polymers are definitely my favorite mags and only ones I been buying the last year or so. I’ve heard very mixed opinions about Croatian mags, so I never bothered to buy any
