I lived in pattaya for 7 years and i just got fed up with friends comeing to me complaining about these actions by bars they wont apologise because they admit they were wrong and loose face they are desperate for money and belive me it will get worse as the year goes on ive lived now in issan for 7 years and never had this scam once tourist areas you can keep them

One option on your house is to look for someone to do a rent to rent on it. They pay you like 3 years up front and manage it and they sub let it either on airbnb or normal. Or sell it and invest in commercial property, low maintenance long lease and can be good return.

the only thing you missed is to call the Tourist Police immediately. A much better choice for you than the local boys in brown. They are far more down the line, (if you fuck up they will help you shed THB to make it better, but if you're being done over, they will be quite firm with the bar - all my experience I hasten to add). They will insist the bar produce the cctv (remember its a crime not to have it) and if things are in your favour they will settle the matter AND inform the bar that you may wish to lodge a "complaint" which we know is thai for compensation. Most bar incidents at that point are resolved quickly. 1155 should be in everyones phone
