They should be the same as long as you have the lumbar support option on your current seats.

You can get rid of the resonator but at any speed over 80km/h the drone is just too much. I installed a valved exhaust recently.

@@josephjones8959 no lights at all. Be careful when buying a set that the didnt come from a crashed car. Crashed car seats typically will have a blown seatbelt tensioner.

Hey, from what I have seen it would not be a plug and play if you dont have lumbar. The wiring and connector are different and would require a lot of additional wiring....not impossible but it does look complicated.

@@victorr2042 No problem at all, hope your day is going well too. To be completely honest, I didnt do too much research into that option as it didnt apply to me. That said, I did glance at a few forums where people did the swap so that would be your best bet, I would look at E60 5 series examples too as it is quite similar. I think I saw some basic wiring diagrams in these forum posts. Best of luck!

They are plug and play if your car currently has lumbar adjustment, but you need to code them to see the cooled seat option in the infotainment screen. Not a big deal either way

When I out LED in my halogen housing illumination was even worse than the halogen light. It was shinning lower and apparently that was because LEDs shouldn’t be in halogen reflectors, how did you get around this to have an even better output on the road? Did you turn them a certain way?

Hey, yes you have to make sure they are seated perfectly, depending on the LED's you get this might be more difficult, the ones that are slightly more expensive are typically better. I put Auxito on all my cars and so far I am happy. I also ensured they were horizontal in the housing.

@@tatetolson383 it all essentially uses the module to “bypass” the main harness. Original cables go into the module and new ones go from module into OEM harness/radio/screen. Hope that helps.

The 3” pipes had a lot of drone on the highway so that was the biggest reason. With a muffler and a valve I can get pretty nice throaty sound and quite when I want it. It ran about $5-600

I beleive my 330ci stock is 2.00" Do you think I'll get drone if I go to 2.25 or 2.5 tips w muffler delete if I keep resonator?

@@spiana01 I believe stock is 2.25" and will give it slightly deeper tone but significantly less drone. The tips wont change anything. My suggestion from doing both is just to spend a litle more money on a better exhaust than cuting yours off.

Thank you so much, I appreciate the support. They dont come by too often in high spec especially the 2013's. I bought this as a bit of a project and a gamble as I didnt start but had tonnes of good maintenence. I diagnosed it as a starter/ground issue and got luckily. I've had to do plugs/coils and a water pump/thermostat as maintenance which ran me about $1000. I also did the seats obviously and style 214 rims with spacers and about to install mr.12volt carplay. So far he $150 full tank hurts but my wife mostly drives it so its not too bad since she doesnt commuete so its a family/cottage car! Happy to help with any questions!

Great upgrade. I have cooled seats in a 2019 X3 & I can hear a fan blowing in the rear of the car when I turn on the cooled seats. Didn't you have to add a fan somewhere in order to get the ventilated seats working?

Yes its great in the summer! Loving it so far. No additional fans needed, the fans are already in the seats they have to have the perforated seats from the factory.

I’m looking into getting the same valves exhaust, I also have a zhp and I was wondering how you where able to get the valves to work? Because the zhp doesn’t come with a factory valve, I was wondering how you did the alternative vacuum source and how difficult was it?

The ZHP comes with a valved exhaust that functions via vacuum from throttle response (could be like over 3k RPM or 50% throttle I cant recall) This kit comes with an actuator and remotes so you can control the valves and I will do a video on how you can program it to control with your homelink buttons

That came with my car it had an additional claw to hold a phone. I’llcheck the brand I’ve seen it online for about $25-$30.

Can this be cleaned or is it 100% electronic sensor failure? My code 68 is intermittent which would lead me to believe it is not electronic failure. I don't know why everyone doesn't use the same terminology including BMW. In INPA it is fuel tank ventilation, in their parts system it is fuel tank breather. Elsewhere its an EVAP purge valve and so it goes on.

I completely agree, it took me a second to cross reference. I dont believe it can be cleaned just by looking at it. It doesnt look serviceable and its pretty cheap even second hand so id replace it as its pretty easy. If yours is intermittent its probably on the way out or I would check your gas cap or potentially a vacuum leak before replacing it as its even easier

@@carsavi Thanks for the reply and great video. My filler cap has a new gasket so I doubt its that. This seems to be a function of not using the car for many months. They really don't like it at all - I also have gearbox position switch which has never occurred before. Oxidised contacts, lack of use etc. I agree a new unit is the answer but they are £77 from BMW parts and around £50 aftermarket so I'll have a look at it first.

That is a tough one because that code just indicates it is running lean. There would have to be a few more diagnostics performed like a smoke test to check for vacuum leaks. I assume you did your o2 sensors and MAF. Check your ICV and make sure is not stuck. But if you can maybe get someone with a better scanner to give you a more specific diagnostic.

That is correct. It has a little bit of interior resonance on the highway but when I'm on the highway valve is closed so not an issue. No drone otherwise. @@Falco_e46

Its a North America spec. Basically has extra 10hp than regular 330i with different cams, exhaust and tune from factory

@@real_kensou Exactly, but I mention in the video it is only plug and play if you have lumbar adjustment on either base seats or sport seats. Otherwise there would be some wiring/coding involved although I dont think it would be terribly hard just need to run power and ground.

I was getting a P0444 code. Yours is an EVAP code so check your gas cap and replace any lines that might cause a vacuum leak.

So far its a day and night difference! I've had it for a while now and zero issues. It might be brighter with LED D2S bulbs but for now its great. One thing that I didnt notice is that my headlight level sensor was broken so its even better now.

what did you do to guarantee the projectors are aligned properly , what would be the best process? i'm about to receive these bad boys but i've heard the alignment is an issue and everybody uses dremel and stuff. What is your take on this ?

Alignment in the housing should not be a problem to install them. If you need to move the alignment screws like I did, you will need to find a blank wall to align them properly. There are a few videos on youtube on how to align them properly with the plastic screws. It doesnt have to be 100% perfect.

Hey I am glad that you are doing it. It really isnt hard to do especially if you take your time. It would be done in 4-5 hours. I got mine from Retrofitlab just make sure to know which kit you needed. I needed the bi-xenon ZKW kit for mine.

I got this kit for my car and my wires are shot too, my high beams don't work but it's fine I don't really use them anyways, I think there are better options than the retrofit lab set of projectors that have an easier installation and better fit/easier to level because that's the tricky part is making sure the cutoff line isn't crooked

@@jacobbruner1 my kit came with a metal template to ensure level projector housings. There are definitely a few good retro fit sets. I just found that the retrofitlab ones use the best quality materials so I never have to do this again.

Passenger seats are usually in good shape. If you get one at a junk yard its and easy swap of the seat bottom!!

No symptoms. It just keeps coming back after being cleared. This isnt super common so you could likely get a cheap one from a part out or local junk yard to get rid of the light.

I didnt notice any to be honest. the 3" is just at the end after the resonator. I've had it on for a few years and no issues. I upgraded to a valved exhaust now and not really any difference other than sound.

Try starting a m8cs , when I was in the condo not so bad as nit many ppl around. I moved Into a split home style. I started my car mid day, the whole neighborhood came out lol. It wasn't my daily and I never drove it in the morning. Max that beast on m mode everything, it screams so loud u can Hear it blocks away. I'm just lucky I'm not the only loud car . there are about 5 ppl and it seems like a lot of DIY around Mt place. See ppl working in their car all the time. I'm sure tahts why alot them came out to see who it was. Once own a m car, their exhasut note is very hard to replicate. Like my bmw e92 n54, it could never sound like my friend v8 m3

The canbus essential regulates the power to and from the light to let the car know nothing is wrong. The bulb on the dash is because I left it disconnected to show the codes and how to see them. The codes werent there after I plugged everything in.
