I think it will be a good close game 24-21 hogs. I also like the O-line additions,in one portal class hogs made O-line better for 25 and could be great in 26.I also like the depth in the secondary.

Again….yall act like Arkansas was bama, Ohio state or Texas in the past. Only a handful of 10+ win seasons in its history. That is fact. Fan base needs to learn how to stick with a coach. Stability eventually translates to wins.

That was an excellent PC. Sam seemed to upbeat and quite positive about the portal and moving forward.Understandably, Sam is historically a fantastic line coach and he seemed quite pleased about all the big bodies, and hoping one more skilled tackle comes through. And for someone who has gone through 2 hip replacements (on same hip) before age 60. I can understand his feeling of relief and wishing he’d done it sooner.

@@jtfenton They probably have scripted questions. That is just how depraved the program has gotten. My father had a war injury on his back, fell on a ship railing on his back. Had a big disability check and would see chiropractors constantly. However he worked on a freight dock loading and delivering heavy freight from 18-wheelers for 40 years. Never heard him whine & wrench in a chair like Pittman constantly did. It was losing football games alibied junk. Probably actually had no operation. You just buying their clap trap. A money machine up there for those people.

Lost three starters off a bad O-line in the portal. These transfers the media are obsessed over cannot play in the bowl game. Who is Arkansas going to put on the O-Line for the bowl game? Also why is Arkansas getting shortie receivers to play against large SEC DB's? I would have asked Pittman those questions. Wouldn't last long as a sports media member making a dollar in this state. They should get a salary paid by the university. Guess they are paid what they are worth & work cheap.

Interesting to get the Texas Tech perspective from Jarrett Johnson. They beat Arizona State. Their rookie quarterback ain’t really a rookie quarterback and he was an elite 11 player, so he’s good. Period. They’ve got a stud RB and LB. We’d love to take advantage of their defensive line situation….but we’ve got a brand new offensive line trying to do that. We’d love to have Landon Jackson take advantage of a rookie left tackle….but we don’t. We’ve got enough experience on defense to play well. Stop the run! Turn Taylon loose on the quarterback run! (He may be running for his life anyway. 🥴)

I don’t think we need to replace AA. I’d love to committee that production with te and a better 2nd 3rd wr group.. you’ll figure out who to go to on key downs but I just think we need more than one go to.. I think Taylen lost faith in a couple of those guys and that helped AA have the year he had…

NCAA has totally mismanaged NIL, Portal, and allowing males to play female sports. What. A. CF. No guardrails, allowing players in the portal before bowl games, allowing multiple entries into the portal in one season, allowing players to jump from team to team with no minimum stay I.e. 2years for example. Also, Arkansas should seriously think about hiring a GM to handle business side since the NCAA is providing no rules or guardrails. Coaches should coach.

If you had strong leadership on the team, like they did in 2021 with guys like Grant Morgan and the rest of those super seniors, they wouldn't be letting Russell back on the team. Good way to have a cancer in the locker room letting a guy back in who tried to leave twice. Reeks of desperation by Pittman.

How about Pittman doesn't hold grudges he doesn't hold 18-year-olds to the account for making poor decisions or checking out their financial options, don't be ridiculous! This isn't twenty years ago they pay the p[layers and anyone who doesn't understand that its money that these young men have to look at right now because they may never make it to the NFL look at it from the players perspective!

Through the years, Arkansas has been a powerhouse in football. Top 10 almost every year. "Game of the Century" and all that. But going back a couple of decades, we have not been that. Bad luck, bad AD decisons, bad coaching - lots of things to hang the hat of failure on. But until the last few years, it all became about money. Big corp ESPN is calling the shots now. Players getting paid, transfer portal open 24/7 it seems. Mini-NFL. It's all gone to hell college sports fans. For those of you that post anti-comments about coach Pittman or the staff; it's not their damn fault. And it's not the AD's fault. It's money... Used to be you could watch a group of guys for 3 years at least, so you knew your team. They had loyalty, honor and heart. Now it's all about odds, gambling and how much you can make off your, or any other team. For those of you that post about the coaching staff or above - it is not them. It's all about the benjamins....
