I felt like the Ok State game set the tone for the season. Undisciplined, mistake ridden, playing to not lose. I’m not sure we corrected one thing from that game. We had blockers running into Sategna on punt returns all year long. If there was a way to lose a game. We would find it. I think we have a good team that’s poorly coached.

@ pretty much. A Bowl Game, especially New Years Day Bowl, use to be a big deal since a National Championship was borderline impossible. However, with the addition of the College Football Playoffs all other bowl games are meaningless (other than the additional 15 practices) since they are just “congrats on being mediocre”. The CFP gives everyone a legitimate chance to compete for a title if you are in the top 3 teams from the SEC and you get hot at the end of the season. The pre-2024 days of “making a bowl is a big deal” are over due to the CFP and there being 30+ bowl games. When there were only 12 bowl games it was a big deal since so many good teams were left out. Arkansas refuses to mentally/culturally adapt to College Football 2024 while those teams that do are leaving us in their wake.

How much can a coach do to prevent penalties and turnovers. U say they need to practice ball security differently but who says the players will use the ball security measures they try. Coach's can't make the decisions for players on the field. When taylen decides to take a sack or makes a bad decision and throws a pick how much can sam and Bobby to other than tell him what he did wrong and hope he doesn't do it again. Same with the fumbles r dub fumbles and u tell him to secure the ball better and jj fumbles as well. Players don't care enough to have discipline and make good decisions.

My deep, unending frustration remains this - we have given up points off turnovers in nearly every single game this year. Almost every turnover resulted in points. And we lost several close games, particularly OSU, TAMU, and today were responsible due to these penalties. My anger is these are absolutely correctable issues. And if corrected, we are a 9-3 team this season. But we have made zero progress on this in five years and Hunter is saying NIL is why our top #35 recruiting classes are making errors in penalties and turnovers that put as the worst in the country in those areas. Bull. Accountability has to come from somewhere. I want Sam to put it together, but if it isn't fixed now, I doubt it will be fixed next year, and that condemns us to... this. Apathy.

Stuck with Pittman because of an extension that AD Hunter Y gave him a few years ago. Arkansas is handcuffed financially and cant get a new coach. Also, we dont have enough BIG SPENDERS for football NIL and therefore cant get the "studs" to come to Arkansas except for Basketball and baseball. The SAM PITTMAN era will always be known for bonehead mistakes, turnovers and "one score losses". Trey Biddy is NOT pleased to say the least and i dont blame him.

The amount of money the university stands to lose next year if we go bust those first few games is a huge gamble with Pittman… people are tired and tired of spending money on what they already know the outcome too.. I don’t see how we can afford it. At least with a new coach losing it keeps people in the stands with the little excitement that would bring.

Green. 14 TDs. 9 INTS. 7 of Greens TDs happened in 2 games. He had 5 games this season where he didn't account for a single TD. He has "potential". But. He's a JR and he hasn't improved at all from last year until now. That's...alarming. He's way too inconsistent.

I don't understand how 6-6 suffices due to upcoming years with revenue sharing? Trey mentioned getting better players makes those in charge feel the 6-6 tolerable. I just don't understand that reasoning with Pittman? Pittman is going to lose football games with better players or not. We saw that this year with Oklahoma State. Pittman teams will be perpetually undisciplined. Pittman is a bad head coach. Pittman was throwing a bowling ball in the locker room last weekend. Now cannot walk this weekend. Stop being a flunky for the university's weak narrative.

Unless you have a can't miss hire in your back pocket, nobody can fire their coach this season. Fans really aren't understanding how revenue sharing is going to cut into our sports budget. Combine that with an NIL program, that is getting better but still behind other programs, firing a coach, just to fire them isn't smart. Look at other schools worse off than us, they haven't fired their coaches for the same reason.

Bellyma's (Fattman1) record for Arkansas was Arkansas was 29-34. Much better than Pittman's (Fattman2). All of you who continue to support Pittman - WHY??????? Nice guy doesn't win in the SEC. So you'd rather have a nice guy and a low bowl game every third year? Go home, stop supporting the Razorbacks until we get a legitimate coach and possible 8+ win team.

I’m taking a step back and looking at this regular season as a whole. There were some disappointing and frustrating moments, but also some great moments. It would’ve been great for them to do even better, but the key is this team stuck together through the tough times (unlike last year) and improved. At the very least, that’s what I was looking for this year after only 4 wins last season. Incremental improvement of 6 wins, although not as exciting as 8 wins or so, is still a good sign for the future if they can keep it up. The minimum standard for next year will be further improvement (in the range of 7 or 8 regular season wins). With that said, let’s win this bowl game and go into the offseason with some momentum!

Trey, I know you dont want to hear this, but Pitman has to go....14-28 conference record in 5 years. Someone will have to come up with the cash to get him to leave. Other teams are firing and hiring different Coaches. What other SEC team would tolerate this? Clark wasn't the problem!
