Love your videios, but totally agree on lack of variety. It's the same here in Victoria, Australia. It's all Vlocity 3 car units (also worked as 6 car units), but very few Locomotive Hauled Passenger services compared to years back. Rail Tours here are the same... the same consists, the same locomotives. Keep enjoying the life down there (I'd love to live in the UK) and take care.

To be honest Alex I don't blame you I quite agree with you there isn't the variety just isn't there anymore not just in the Southwest but across the whole network in the UK I mean I don't make KZbin Vlogs but I watch yourself and other vlogers I do hope you keep the uploads coming look forward to seeing your next one whenever that might be.

I agree here, Bristol and everywhere around is super boring, railtours arent that fun anymore and thats why ive been putting up a couple more bus videos than before. Did see the black 5 and 47848 passing trowbridge earlier though

Fully understand your situation and agree with you Alex my friend, the variety is boring in Exeter and railtours are boring too, hope you've enjoyed the weather, will still support you no matter what mate i live in Maidstone kent and we get aload off 375's and the highspeed trains too.

Great video Alex mate i think every Saturday at the moment it's the Mayflower going to Kingswear and return and the Royal Duchy for tomorrow I think and 1st of September is the Black 5 1 train i would like to see again is castlesets I know we don't get them in Exeter only 1 in the evening going to Bristol Temple Meads

@@danbickle we only get the one castle set going to Exeter from Penzance on a Saturday morning late Saturday morning and back and one ever late weekday evening as for the railtours don’t get me start on that I been really disappointed on the lack of variety of railtours this year even one or two other people are starting to not like it either it’s just so boring 🥱

Oh i wish they were in bristol still :( december 9 was last one, 43187+43029 i was on it from bristol to penzance and back and saw its final journey on 2c89 newport to taunton

when i was going to dawlish i thought the variety is really good because what i get now is all 197s a couple of sprinters on heart of wales the 153s and the 800s but in devon its much better you get 221s 220s 800s 802s 158s 150s 159s and soon 175s so i think what you get is great because here is boring and they are scrapping the 150s here because TFW dont want to spent money like GWR want to. but with the steam seeing it once or twice is good enough it would get boring so im on your side about that

Good video, Alex mate. It's good to see the Black 5. I was going to see the return journey last Sunda evening, but at least I have already seen it. By the way, it's always good to see it again at least you got the steam in a nick of time before the Exmouth train came in sign of relief 😂

It’s never good to see the same steam locomotive all the time it’s exactly the same thing gets really really really boring so I only see it once good enough for me, I have notice too many people actually come out to see all railtours now for good reasons as we know gets too boring

Nice video as usual. I saw the NMT further down the line in Paignton as I was spotting there during the afternoon. There was also a railtour on wednesday with two 47s leading, one in scotrail livery, did you see that?

Nice start to the video with a IET, SWR train and 158 798, nice little mixture off other trains too, nice to see the flying banana HST it sounded so good aswell nice buffers at the back, shame there were no buffers at the front liked the tones off a 158.
