Have to say Alex I think my channel trains at viewership has gone down a bit but randomly increased dramatically on other videos!! I would love to see you go down to Cornwall for some castle sets!! Channels have peaks and troughs and sometimes you hit a trough but the algorithm has its ways, and sometimes you cant do much about it. I do try to watch all of your videos and enjoy them👍👍

I will be honest Alex I haven’t been on your channel for a while but that doesn’t mean I don’t like your videos. I really like watching your videos regardless of the location. I think it might be the lack of variety of the trains them selfs as there isn’t as much nowadays now that the HSTs are seeing their final door out. so it could be that but that is the railways unfortunately. But I’ll definitely watch your Southampton Central video at sometime within the near future. Keep up the good work and looking forward to what to your future videos.

Tried to do shorts videos for train content for your KZbin channel I found short train videos have been very popular on my KZbin channel and you also thought about going up to Birmingham new Street for a different train video. I’ve been up there last year when the HST came through. All the HST. Count

I don't think its just you. I have similar issues with my views and likes that don't really make much sense to me why the odd one suddenly has more than usually, but others that I thnk might do quite well fail miserably. I visited a couple of gala's at the start of the year and had some good viewing figures or at least what I would for my channel, but then I did both the Watercress and GCR gala's on the same weekend and neither did that well last month. Videos of the NYMR always seem to do well even if not a gala. The views for shorts also seems to have fallen where before i used to post 5 to 10 when I was out for the day, and probably 6 or 7 would get at least 1K views, but thats probably halved. All this on the back of an increase in subscriber numbers, so doesn't make much logical sense unless the number of those have stopped returning to watch new content. I am about to have another stint working from home, so will repeat what I did about a month ago where I invited subscribers to point me at their watch lists so I have something running in the background to help boost there views and watch hours.

Just watched your Southampton Central video which was much better, why? It had more operators than the two (three if you add SWR) down at Exeter St. Davids. The problem is not with you, but the lack of operators on that part of the network only being CC and GWR. Now that all the HST's have gone, all you get from CrossCountry are Voyagers. I like the freight, so when you record some including light loco's, its better plus when there are railtours and the odd steam. Whilst I'm subscribed to your channel, I also subscribe to Diggle Jn (joined around 600 subs, now he has nearly 5500), Leslie Gilpin and DestinationTrainsPlanes (plus more for model railways) as they have far more freight. My wife likes the scenery around Diggle. I don't know how you can get more subscribers as it costs you to travel long distances, but can I please ask that you use your tripod as at times the phone goes all over the place. There have also been times where your finger has got in the way, but please continue making videos.
