Your choice of music could not be more perfect for this model. “Ode to Joy” was featured in the movie “Diehard”. Bruce Willis’ character, John Mclaine, was drove to Nakatomi Plaza in almost this same model driven by his chauffeur, Arguile. This Limo had its hero moment later in the film. Nice custom job you’ve done here. I love Diehard and this immediately came to mind.

Just wondered why you didn't add front seats and a steering wheel since I'm sure you could have made them as you made the table.Not to detract from the amazing job you did.

Hey, I just found your channel. Totally cool content. I love the Mercedes. You are very skilled and your channel is terrific (and my mother is Scottish!). We share the same passion for scale cars. I'm doing makeovers on my channel. Mostly 1:64 stuff, so you might like it. Check it out. I’m always looking for new ideas, tips and tricks to improve my own content. I’ve just subbed to your channel. Hit me back! Have fun with the cars and be safe, brother. Greetings from Switzerland.

Was the Grayhound decal a computer graphic. I didn't quite understand that bit-

I still have mine and fairly decent shape I believe it came with a little plastic package to put in the pick up area it was light Brown about an inch long some kind of cargo to deliver etc, which made it even more realistic.
@TONYSDIECASTRESTOS4 жыл бұрын
Yes the little crates that go in the back are rare, people have 3d printed replica crates but I cna't do that.
@janickgoudeau61264 жыл бұрын
@@TONYSDIECASTRESTOS I have that little crate somewhere but my garage is a mess I'm gonna try and look for it and come up with it one of these days I will try into a video or a picture, As a child owning that toy the drop side always bothered me because the crate would always fall out I much prefer it if it would have been a solid bed.

It looks fantastic in black it reminds me of that crime scene photo in New York where the gangster was shot in front of sparks steakhouse right in front of his 89 Lincoln town car continental version. I think it was Paul gambino. I have the same match Box Lincoln except I painted mine with a red stripe to give it the bill blass look from that era.

There are a few versions, including a one which comes in 3 parts so you can stretch it and unstretch it.

Great video I remember I loved playing with this model when I was a child when I would go round my grandparents house and play with my dad's old cars, my other favourites were the dinky merry weather fire engine with working fire hose and the dinky tow truck.

Great build! Looks like the car that crashed at Lemans in 1955 & killed 80+ spectators. The body was magnesium & burned like a roman candle.
