My sweet Nanisi Barrett was one of the original conductors of the Big Apple Corp. She was outstanding and respected for her contributions to the development of Gay and Lesbian Bands. I was with her for 24 years and cared for her in her battle with Multiple Sclerosis, which ultimately led to her death. I loved her immensely. She was a gifted and spirited woman. I wish all the younger members could have had the opportunity to work with her. God Bless my dear sweet angel. I so miss you as your one year anniversary of your passing is upon me.
