Nice marching band. I have one thing to say that I've learned in life. Just because you're different, doesn't mean you should be treated with respect or royalty. You'll have days where people treat you like shit, or you'll have a day where you're treated normal. Life isn't always about respect, it's about enjoying it as best as you can. You can't expect everyone to get along, as there will always be opposing sides. Best thing to do, is try to live in peace without the unnecessary execrate. But sometimes in life, we just gotta take one day at a time.
