@@MiniQuest64 I do use it all the time. Handles non-manifold geometry, holes or weird intersections pretty well. It used to be available online but they took the service down. Nowadays I use the version that is implemented in the Prusa Slicer. After fixing you can export the STL to any other slicer of choice.

My concern there was simply that you tried to paint the picture that your opinion of the product would be unbiased since you did not receive any money. But from my perspective you received a gift which could very well be worth several thousand bucks. This is also considered a form of payment and hardly leaves your impression impartial.

Well, that was a 450€ printer that came with a bunch of problems, and I highlighted all the problems, didn't offer affiliate links, and did not recommend buying the product. I have no idea how you came up with a product worth "thousands of dollars." or what exactly your concerns are. It was sponsored content, but I did not get paid.

Ich benutze Fusion 360 für die Gebäude und Blender für die Figuren. Fusion ist relativ einfach zu erlernen, während Blender echt super schwierig und komplex ist. Dafür ist Blender Gratis und viel umfangreicher, wenn du wirklich Minis designen möchtest, würde ich meine Energie in Blender stecken. Mit Fusion wirst du schnell an deine Grenzen stoßen und dann nach einer richtigen sculpting Software suchen, also warum nicht gleich Blender lernen?

@@MiniQuest64 vielen Dank! Ja ich denke du hast recht. Werd mich gleich in Blender reinfuchsen denk ich. Fusion360 hab ich mir mal angeschaut aber eben wie du sagst da kommt man relativ schnell an seine Grenzen.

Na das freut mich wirklich sehr zu hören, wir brauchen immer mehr Leute im Hobby =) Ich benutze einen Elegoo Mars 2, ist ein altes Modell, dass ich gebraucht für 80€ bei Ebay bekommen habe und seit.... 3 Jahren ununterbrochen läuft! Davor hatte ich einen Anycubic Drucker und das war eher eine negative Erfahrung. Ich hab noch eine Cure and Wash Station von Anycubic, die kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen! Besser als mit Gläsern/Töpfen zu arbeiten ^^ Falls ich dir in irgendeiner Form helfen kann, lass es mich wissen!

@@MiniQuest64 vielen Dank für die Infos! Ich spiele eben viel Warhammer und wir haben uns gedacht das ein oder andere geländestück (vermutlich dann in mehreren teilen) zu drucken. Kann man das mit den meisten so machen oder benötige ich dann ein eher größeren bzw mit größerer Kammer?

@@MiniQuest64 was wäre denn so zum starten gut? Habe mal geschaut aber gibt ja von elegoo Drucker von 250-700euro. Denke so ein gutes Mittelmaß wäre perfekt oder? Denke nicht das ich jetzt den billigsten kaufen werden aber auch nicht den teuersten. Soll ja auch mal zum Testen sein ob das 100% was für mich ist. Hab aber eben schon extrem Bock drauf 😄

Also wenn hauptsächlich Gelände gedruckt werden soll, dann würde ich tatsächlich eher Richtung FDM Drucker schauen, anstatt Resin. Ist um einiges günstiger, einfacher zu handhaben, schneller und hat einen größeren Bauraum. Dafür macht man ein paar Abstriche bei der Qualität. Wenn du zum Beispiel Sachen von www.printablescenery.com/ drucken magst, ist FDM einfach die bessere Wahl.

Ich denke mal ein Elegoo Mars 2\3\4 wäre ein gutes Einsteigermodell, wobei ich Resin Druck generell nicht für Anfänger empfehlen würde, es sei denn du hast Erfahrungen mit dem Umgang von Chemikalien. Dazu kommen noch Resin, Schutzbrille, Nitrilhandschuhe, Isopropanol, Werkzeug, Tücher und und und. Also das geht schnell Richtung +500€ bevor man loslegen kann. Wichtig wäre es erstmal zu wissen, was genau du drucken magst, um die richtige Maschine mit dem richtigen Bauraum auszuwählen.
